2. Reflexive posture: This term is often used to describe the dance steps of tango. This posture is formed when the body does not rotate but the legs are crossed in front or behind. Generally, the left foot forward and the right foot backward are the positions of reflexive movements, and reflexive movements are often used in the positions of reflexive movements.
3. Rise and fall: Tango didn't rise. Because there is no "swing" in the rotation of tango, the dance steps of tango are put in place, not "swing", which is different from other dances of modern dance. There are some movements and dance steps in which the sole of the foot uses a turn, but it can't be called rising, so our heels are still in contact with the floor.
4. What are the characteristics of tango footwork?
(1) All forward footwork, whether in the position of reflexive action or in the guidance of one side, is that the heel hits the ground first, and the soles of the feet and toes naturally fall.
(2) All backward footwork in the position of reflexive action is to land the sole of the foot first, and then descend to the front foot.
(3) The footwork of the side dance is different: it has "the inner edge of the foot" respectively (meaning that the inner edge of the foot touches the ground before all the feet touch the ground); "The middle edge of the sole to the heel" or "sole and heel" only.
(4) The footwork of Step _ is also different: it is mainly "the inner edge of the whole foot". But in some advanced dance steps, there is also the "inner edge of sole and heel" footwork.
