I want to know the situation in Yushu and Haixi, Qinghai

Golmud, Haixi Prefecture | Delingha | Wulan County | Dulan County | Tianjun County | Mangya | Lenghu | Dachaidan

Yushu County, Yushu Prefecture | Nangqian County | Chengduo County | Zhiduo County | Zaduo County | Qumalai

I suggest you go to Yushu. In August and September, the weather and scenery are quite beautiful. You won’t regret it if you go there. You don’t have to worry too much about things like food and accommodation, it won’t cost you a lot of money, and unlike other tourist cities, you can easily find a place to stay once you arrive. (Bring some common medicines with you, and pay special attention to sun protection. It’s best to wear a hat. The sun’s ultraviolet rays in Qinghai are quite powerful, so there’s nothing else you can do.)

◆Yushu Horse Racing Festival

———————————————————————————————— ————————

◇Festival features: From early Tibetan historical records and murals, we can also see that horse racing in Yushu has a long history. According to the "Zixian Pilu Shuna Temple Chronicles", in 641 AD, horse racing has become one of the rituals for local people to welcome her. Nowadays, in Yushu area, no matter whether it is worshiping mountains and gods, welcoming guests or seeing off guests, weddings or other festive days, they are all inseparable from horse racing. The state government designated the seven to ten days starting from July 25th each year as the traditional Yushu Horse Racing Festival.

◇Festival location: Yushu

◇Festival time: seven to ten days starting from July 25th every year

◆Kamba Culture and Art Festival< /p>

◇Festival Features: The rise of singing and dancing in Yushu is very old. The First Living Buddha Xina of Jiegu Temple had extraordinary artistic talent. He created more than one hundred kinds of "multiple tops to seek excellence", which laid the foundation for Yushu to become a hometown of singing and dancing. In addition, Yushu has the geographical advantage of being adjacent to Tibet, Sichuan and Yunnan. It has continuously absorbed the outstanding achievements of Tibetan singing and dancing in these areas to enrich its own cultural and artistic creation. Over time, singing and dancing have become a major spiritual need in the lives of Yushu people. "If you can talk, you can sing, if you can walk, you can dance." The songs and dances of the Kham people are unique among Qinghai folk songs and dances, with unique style and high artistic appreciation value. Therefore, the traditional Yushu Kangba Culture and Art Festival not only attracts Tibetan people and domestic tourists from Qinghai, Tibet, Sichuan, Yunnan, Gansu and other provinces (regions), but also the United States, Britain, France, Canada, Switzerland, Japan and other countries Tourists from Hong Kong and Taiwan come from thousands of miles away, and many Chinese and foreign reporters come to report on the grand event.

◇Festival location: Yushu

◇Festival time: July and August every year

◆Transportation guide:

◇Long-distance bus:

There are shuttle buses to Yushu from Xining Long-distance Bus Station every day. The whole journey costs about 132 yuan for a sleeper and 94 yuan for a hard seat. It is 819 kilometers and takes about 20 hours. After leaving Xining, it passes through Riyue Mountain, Daotanghe, ***he County (the bus driver will stop for dinner), Huashixia, and the next morning pass through Maduo Yellow River Bridge, Yematan, Yiniugou, Xingxiu Sea, Tongtian River Bridge, and arrive at Jiegu Town, the seat of the Yushu government.

To enter Tibet from Yushu, you can first go to Shiqu in Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan. The one-way rental price of buns is 300 yuan (5-6 people), and then you can enter Tibet from Shiqu to Dege.

◇Chartered cars: There are many privately owned minivans and jeeps for rent in the central square of Jiegu Town, and the prices are relatively realistic.
