The original singer of Li Tianbao's mourning is Shen Fengmei.
Born on the 22nd day of the Lunar New Year in 1927 in Tuzhuang Village, Linying County, Henan Province, a master of the Henan Yueju Opera, Shen Fengmei began her studies at the age of eleven, and at the age of fourteen, she took up a class. 1947, the folk troupe she was with was integrated into the Victory Troupe of the People's Liberation Army, which was later transformed into the Henan Yueju Opera Troupe. at 0:50 a.m. on July 20th, 1995, Shen Fengmei passed away after a brief illness in Zhoukou, China.
Shen Fengmei died in Zhoukou after a long illness.
Shen Fengmei's lifelong stage practice proved that she was a wide-ranging and comprehensive actress. She was a true performer, with steady movements, clear diction, a voice with emotion, a melodious voice, and a strong, simple and bold voice, forming the unique art of the Shen School.
She made a small folk opera with a simple program and rough performance develop into a kind of opera loved by the masses, and pushed the art of Yueju to an unprecedented peak.
