Where is the Czech Republic?
The Czech **** and the country formerly belonged to the Czechoslovak Socialist **** and the country, is a landlocked country in the center of Europe. It is connected to Slovakia in the east, Austria in the south, Poland in the north and Germany in the west, with an area of 78,866 square kilometers, of which the land area: 77,276 square kilometers and the water area: 1,590 square kilometers. It consists of 3 parts: Bohemia, Moravia and Silesia. It is in a quadrilateral basin that rises on three sides and has fertile land. It is bounded by the Krkonocer Mountains in the north, the ?umava Mountains in the south, and the Czech-Moravian plateau with an average altitude of 500-600 meters in the east and southeast. Most of the basin is below 500 meters above sea level, with the Rabe River Plain, the Pilsen Basin, the Earls Foothills Basin, and the South Czech Lakeland. The Vltava River is the longest and flows through Prague. The Elbe River originates from the Czech River Labe and is navigable. The upper valley of the Morava-Oder River in the east is the area between the Czech basin and the Slovak mountains, known as the Morava Tabor City River-Oder Corridor, which has been a major trade route between northern and southern Europe since ancient times. The country is characterized by rolling hills, dense forests and beautiful landscapes. The country is divided into two major geographic regions, one in the western half of the Bohemian Highlands, the other in the eastern half of the Carpathian Mountains, which consists of a series of east-west trending mountains. The highest point is the peak of Gerlakhovsky, which is 2655 meters above sea level.
