Wang Erni went to Nanning, Guangxi to participate in an art festival with her troupe in 2000.
In early 2001, Wang Erni represented Ansai County to participate in the "First Peasant Singer Competition" in Beijing and won the first place.
In the Spring Festival of 2002, Wang Erni went to Hong Kong to perform at the Ocean Park; she also participated in the Third Art Festival of Shaanxi Province.
In 2003, she went with the troupe to Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province to participate in the Arts Festival, and took part in the Fifth Farmers' Games in Shaanxi Province.
In 2004, the troupe represented China to perform in Thailand, and participated in the "Tsingtao Beer Centennial Birthday" performance in Qinghai.
In 2005, she took part in the first Spring Festival Gala on the "Red Special Train" from Yan'an to Beijing on New Year's Eve.
In 2006, she took part in the "Shaanxi Province Fourth Art Festival" and participated in the large-scale party in ten cities to commemorate the 85th anniversary of the founding of the Party.
In 2007, she took part in the large-scale song and dance party for the 86th anniversary of the founding of the Party and the 17th National Party Congress. In the same year, she participated in CCTV's "Avenue of Stars" program and entered the annual finals.

In January 2014, Crying Love, starring Wang Dazhi, was released in China. In the 2014 CCTV Spring Festival Gala of the Year of the Horse, he partnered with A Bao to sing the song "Zhang Lanterns and Colors" .On July 21st, Wang Erni with her new album debut single "Hometown" took part in the recording of CCTV's classic interview program "Artistic Life" summer special - "Where did all the time go".
In January 2015, the second album "I came from the west" was released .From July 5, Wang Erni and the members of the "Into the Yellow Land" cultural picking group came to Shaanxi for picking, and first visited the musician Zhao Jiping.
