Belonging to Huainan sub-dialect area, it is a branch of North China dialect in the northern dialect, which is quite different from the branches of Jianghuai dialect such as Lu 'an and Hefei in the south. Huainan dialect area is mainly distributed in the surrounding areas with Shouxian city as the core, including Huainan, Fengtai, Shouxian, eastern Huoqiu, eastern Yingshang and northern Changfeng. In this area, people's accents are almost the same except for a few different words.
Huainan accent is close to Huoqiu, Fuyang, Funan, Bengbu, Huaiyuan, Guzhen and other places in the west, and the difference gradually increases as you go north.
