The square in front of the city is vast, with moat and Jinshui Bridge embedded in it. Every morning at 9 o'clock, there will be an antique opening ceremony here. At that time, bells and drums were ringing, full of ancient charm. Crossing the Jinshui Bridge is the tall Yongding Gate. After crossing the Yongdingmen Gate, we entered the inner city.
To the east of the scenic spot is Yuanmingyuan Scenic Spot, with an area of 6.5438+0.56 million square meters. Located in the northwest of Beijing, Yuanmingyuan is known as the "Garden of Ten Thousand Gardens". 1860, this place was burned by the British and French allied forces, and a large number of precious cultural relics were looted, leaving only a few broken walls. Zheng Da Guangming, Kyushu Qingyan, Pinghu Qiuyue, Wanfang Anhe, Shangxiatianguang, Garden Shadow Pass, Dashuifa and Wanhua Town are all built here as they are.
Zheng Da Guangming Hall has main hall, east annex hall, west annex hall and Demen. Here you can see the majesty and court ceremony of the "Qing Emperor".
Wanfang Anhe is a group of landscapes with national unity and world peace as their artistic conception. Yongzheng called it "Wanzi Temple" and Qianlong called it "Wan Fang Anhe". The swastika building is a special case in the architectural history of China. People can enjoy the scenery in all directions in the temple, winding and each has its own wonders.
The upper and lower skylight is a two-story attic near the water, which is composed of "wonderful reward" and "drinking harmony" built on the bridge. In those days, Emperor Qianlong took Fan Zhongyan's "The Story of Yueyang Tower" as the meaning of "Up and down the sky, a blue sky", imitating Yueyang Tower in Dongting Lake. There are eaves galleries on both floors, and deep into the lake to the south of the lower platform is a zigzag flat bridge, which falls on the lake like a rainbow.
Dashuifa is one of the three groups of big fountains in the Western Building. There is a fountain of "Ten Dogs Fighting for Deer" in the center and thirteen square spray towers on both sides. The semicircular seven-level water tray in front of the archway sprays water layer by layer. The water column shoots more than ten meters high and more than ten meters away, and the sound of spraying water is very loud and can be heard far away.
Kyushu Qingyan is the largest architectural complex in Yuanmingyuan Scenic Area. It consists of five halls: Yuanmingyuan, Kyushu Qingyan, the first spring in the world and Chengen Hall. At that time, Qingyan in Kyushu was the place where the Qing emperor gave banquets to ministers. In the forty-eighth year of Kangxi (A.D. 1709), a plaque inscribed by Emperor Kangxi was hung on the main hall of Yuanmingyuan. Today, the Qingyan in Kyushu reappears its former glory, where people can taste the food of the palace and enjoy the music and dance of the Qing Palace.
