Wandering Earth

Wandering Planet Aftermath 5

After watching a movie or TV program, you must have new insights and views on life, and it's time to take the time to write an afterthought. So how should you write afterward? The following is my collection of stray Earth afterthought, just for reference, welcome to read.

Wandering Planet Aftermath 1

Last night before watching the movie, I struggled with whether to discipline myself to study, or to relax. The desire to relax prevailed, and I got comfortable in the couch while my family watched Wandering Earth.

At first, I was looking forward to seeing the movie because I read the reviews in my circle of friends. I also recognize that this is the progress of China's science fiction movie, the special effects are good, the content is also because of Liu Cixin's imagination and can be seen. However, I started to see Star Trek comparisons from the opening first screen.

The contrast is involuntary, are entrusted to the old man, "Star Trek" is the old man, here is also the old man; the father is absent, both have no choice but to take on the heavy responsibility to save the Earth and save mankind. The time of departure are several years, the child in the pining for the father was abandoned in anger; finally the father is always because of the loved ones children on Earth, refused to abandon the Earth or the human beings on the Earth, against all odds to come back, to save the child, but also to save the Earth in desperation to seek hope in the situation of desperate human beings.

In the end, it is all because of the father's righteous support, the child successfully sought a solution, at the last moment on the Earth human beings to find a new hope.

In the end, humanity either evacuated the Earth or forced it to leave the Sun's gravity and wander in search of a new hope.

While I'm proud of the progress of Chinese cinema, I have to admit that Star Trek appealed to me a bit more. Especially at the end of the movie, surprisingly accomplished a perfect LOOP back to childhood, back to when the father left before the scene, seeking inspiration to solve the problem at hand. This point on the "Wandering Earth" is also the same, only personally I feel that the parallel universe time wormhole emotion so that the past present overlap, seems more than bombing Jupiter to use the Jupiter shockwave to solve the Earth's crisis is more convincing, more admirable.

And do not go to explore so much similarity, is not plagiarism suspicion, but the said movie shock force, personal feeling "Star Trek" slightly better. These are all subjective feelings, everyone is a matter of opinion. Maybe I like that smart and stubborn little girl grew up to be a beautiful and stubborn female scientist more than that rebellious and brave teenager. Maybe it's because the father's approach to his children's learning and education makes me agree that he's not a typical Chinese parent. He knows what the ultimate meaning of education is, not academic achievement, not to please the teacher. Teachers want to meet with parents, respectively criticized his two children, he very clearly pointed out the responsibility of the school, defending their own children. Whether it's a son with bad grades, or a daughter who gets into trouble with teachers at school, he shows reason, love, wisdom and tolerance.

He told his son that he would be a good farmer, and he told his daughter that she needed a few days off to rest. I was reflecting on how differently Chinese parents would react, and how we could never be that COOL.

Human beings are worried about the future, and the sense of worry has become a popular subject in movies. From "The Terminator" to today's "Wandering Earth," the Earth has always been in danger, and people on the planet will be in a desperate situation that's hard to save. The movie reminds us of this, yet people continue to act in the same way they always have. Protect the Earth and cherish our beautiful home, because as far as we know, she is the only one.

The human race is in the movie theater worrying about the fragile ecosystem while ravaging and trampling it. How much will our behavior change when we walk out of the cinema, dry our tears, and drive home?

The end of the world has become a wolf story, and we're used to it. It's a shame that one day, when all the desperate tragedy on the screen becomes a reality, how will the living people feel then?

When there is time to act, we chose to ignore the inaction, there is no time to act, we can only face the crisis in remorse.

In the African bath, the water is very small, friends explained the lack of water in Africa, so even the washing machine are not, because it is too waste water. My friend is from Australia, a big man in his thirties, and he washes his own clothes by hand in a bucket. He reminded me to remember to turn off the water when washing my hair, and that in Australia, because of the serious water shortage problem, people are required to shower for a total of **** no more.

Back in Canada, I rarely remembered to turn off the water when I washed my hair, and I always dozen always rushed to finish my shower with plenty of hot water. I was only very conscious of water conservation when I was in Africa. When camping, the water for brushing our teeth was put out of plastic buckets, a dozen or so of us, and we all conserved, brushing our teeth and washing our faces with as little water as possible. This was probably the most water-conserving time of my life. Tea in the morning, in the coffee, it all tasted like medicine. Every bucket had pills put in it in proportion like pesticides, otherwise that water was undrinkable. But there is a pill flavor water is really hard to drink, if not tea or coffee to cover, white water is difficult to swallow.

In a place where water is scarce, wasting water is a sin. But back in Canada, I don't feel guilty at all. We live on the same planet, and the water crisis is happening in different corners of the globe, but because there is no water shortage in the city-state in front of me, I don't feel guilty. I know that everyone in this city of a few million people is just like me, wasting as much as they want because of the abundance of water in Canada. Water is free in this relatively rich developed country, but poor people in Africa have to pay for it.

How unfair the world is. There is enough food in the world, theoretically, for the entire global population, but there are millions of tons of waste and a lot of hungry faces.

The world is never fair. The Earth rotates on its axis, and in the alternation of day and night, everyone's night and day are never the same length. One day, the Earth crisis, will be the whole human crisis, perhaps in front of that kind of crisis, all inequality will disappear, as unequal as alive, will eventually be leveled by death.

Wandering Earth Afterthought 2

"Wandering Earth" is a science fiction blockbuster, admiring and watching countless people. Cinema audience full of people, for such a work beyond the reality of "support", grand scenes, moving plot, depressing cups ...... from the enjoyment to silence, the movie brought the audience an extraordinary feeling.

Familiar home, Beijing, Shanghai, Jinan, Hangzhou ...... a landmark appeared in the movie, there is no joy of reunion after a long time, that extreme cold weather, we have not been able to find the slightest warmth. Earth in the wandering journey, one earthling to the disaster, the only remaining transfer to the underground space, no longer able to enjoy the blue sky and air, no longer able to feel the perfection of the seasons. What we have lost is exactly what we have today; what we have is exactly what we will lose tomorrow. The whole earth is destined to **** the same body, trying to do everything possible so that the earth can safely go wandering. The earth that depends on the survival of mankind's destiny has become a flat boat, where to go from here? This kind of beginning really makes the audience gripped. In a familiar place to leave the most painful feelings, yellow school buses, familiar building ...... our lives can not go back to the past, can only go to the far away, to find a new side of the home. But, where is the home?

Feelings are the bond of the work. Father and son love, brother and sister love, grandparents and grandchildren love, the love of colleagues, the love of comrades ...... at the time of the disaster, only these feelings are worth letting people fall into tears. After watching this movie, disaster we can clench our teeth, but emotions can not be controlled. Human tears are made for emotions, and every drop is worthy of reverence. Starting from the company on the beach, there is a certain tacit understanding between father and son, the language conveys concern, and the action interprets great love. When Wu Jing plays the father who resolutely mothballs himself to save the earth, emotion becomes the most precious thing in this world. Here no sound is better than sound, how many viewers have been unable to hold down their own emotions ...... that the most dazzling light, a moment for us to see the greatness of man, the greatness of the father, but also see the righteousness of human nature - the reason why heroes become heroes, is for because he (she) to take every action as an interpretation of the great love. She) takes every action as the best opportunity to interpret the meaning of life.

In many people's opinion, the boldness and perseverance of the main character in the movie add a lot of color to the film. A great country, a great nation, only in the face of suffering and hardship will be renewed vigor. Back to the individual, the so-called bravery is a life choice. It is not that any one is born to be brave, and self-preservation is instinctive when one is dealing with danger. We can't aspire for everyone to be so stoic and bold in dealing with challenges; the choice is free and worthy of respect. Brave people have rich and interesting lives, and they never worry about falling flat on their face in the comfort that means pitfalls and trials for them. The age-old question comes to mind: if you had only seven days to live, what would you choose? The movie gives us a few hints like this: stay with your family, shake hands with the world in a quiet and peaceful way; hold on to your expectations and be brave enough to grab the final chance to fight ...... Suddenly, we understand that bravery is the insistence on expectations, the faith, and the light in human nature.

"Ice will eventually turn into water." In the chasm of Shanghai life hangs in the balance, the two playwrights lamented the ice of Shanghai, the past prosperity dissipated, cold and icy, the world will still be good? It is because of this belief that people have gained immortality in disasters time and again. Expectation is the most precious thing in this age. Think of an article that says: there is no worst thing in the world, it just hasn't ended yet. All things will turn out well after the storm, have full faith in that. When trapped in a swamp, believe that you can climb out alive; when dark clouds cover the sky, believe that the sun is still radiant; when time slips away year by year, believe that youth is an attitude; when friends leave you, believe that there are still vivid encounters in life. ...... Believe in love, believe in self, believe in the world, even if it is true that one day the Earth to wander, we can always adhere to a sweet heart.

Expectations burn in the heart of everyone, whenever disaster strikes, expectations in despair, especially precious. The earth is wandering, just as the boat of life in the storm bumps. Fighting to the death, we will eventually overcome fear and reach the other side. In the world of love, human beings are not wandering again and again? There are too many true feelings are hidden under the surface, the trust is broken, selfishness and greed grow wild, a face has been twisted and deformed. In the materialistic world, people don't understand what they really need, how to settle their hearts, and how to love the world. Powdered smile, empty soul, no expression of disdain, wandering, the earth is a metaphor for people. Breaking through the barriers requires the courage and strength of man himself.

The movie cleverly inserts the traditional Chinese festival - Spring Festival, which speaks of the desire to go home. Going home turns the self into a soft light. The astronaut's homecoming is a kind of sadness, the earthling's homecoming is a long love. Home is the support of human spirit, no matter how far it goes, it ties the heart of the wanderer. In "Wandering Earth", the earth returns to its original position and becomes a luxury, and the road back to the dungeon becomes a catastrophe; the more difficult it is to reach, the more worthwhile it is to try. The more difficult it is to reach, the more worthwhile it is to try. The road home is one that everyone never deviates from throughout their lives. Once out, but also once home, the farther you go, the clearer the home in the heart. We are all children who have grown up with a strong sense of countryside.

The future has come, in the spring to bloom a flower of life, let us in the embrace of the earth quiet dream.

Hope, the most precious in this era - "Wandering Earth"

Wandering Earth Afterthought 4

"Wandering Earth" has been hotter than ever lately, and the last time there was such a sensation should have been when "Wolf 2" was broadcast. And "Stray Earth" seems to be more ferocious than "Wolf Warrior 2". Recently, "Stray Earth" has risen directly to No. 6 in movie history, breaking the 2.7 billion box office mark in just nine days.

When it comes to Wu Jing, his contribution to the movie was huge, but it didn't feel like good acting. Compared to Matthew McConaughey, who also played the father on the space station/ship in Star Trek, Wu Jing's portrayal of the father had less emotion and flesh and blood. On the other hand, this also has to do with the different identity of the character. As a Chinese astronaut, Wu Jing plays a more military-like character, and he's clearly trying to express himself as that tough guy.

Special effects

This time, the special effects are not plastic toys, the sense of thickness is very sufficient, this time, the special effects are like mature special effects feel made of industrial products, there is not the slightest sense of childishness. . The industrial feel of the movie is full of special effects in this part I give 10 points. In the original, each Earth engine is the size of Mount Everest, but the movie gives me the feeling that it will be a little smaller, but not too much smaller. One interesting point is that Da Liu gave each engine thrust as 15 billion tons in the original (too lazy to do the math to estimate a number), while the movie changed it to 150 trillion tons.

Another manifestation of the industrial feel is the earthmover, the engineering vehicle that carries rocks across the surface of the Earth to be used as fusion fuel. The styling of this vehicle is really cool, an explosion of punk, the stylist has worked hard! And it's also one of the laughs, which you'll experience for yourself when you get there.

The Wasteland Ice Sheet

In the movie/novel's setting, a massive tidal wave caused by the Earth's rotation stopping engulfs many coastal cities and freezes them into large ice sheets in the ensuing cold. The movie uses a lot of footage to show this wasteland ice sheet. Beijing is built on land, while Shanghai is frozen in a big ice heap. We can see various landmarks in Beijing and Shanghai, and even vehicles and stores frozen in the ice. I've seen foreigners' visions of Chinese cities as wastelands in various movies before, but they all felt like they were full of white-skinned stereotypes of China, and the wastelands they constructed were like realistically modeled wax figures that lacked the tactile feel of life in the city. The Wandering Earth team made a Chinese city wasteland that didn't feel that way, and I really felt for the city in this episode when I saw the ambulance and the diner frozen in ice.

I do think there are some subtle problems with the special effects in this part of the movie, however. There was too much wind and snow cover, making it difficult to see many details of the larger buildings. For a moment, I felt like I was watching a game CG. however, the flaws are still there, and this part of the effects is still mature enough to give it a 9.5 out of 10.

Cosmic scenes

There are only two cosmic scenes that have been shown specifically and deliberately in current movies: Star Trek and Wandering Earth.

The conclusion is that Stray Earth is nowhere near as good as Star Trek in this regard, but it's still watchable.

A lot of special effects are done by special effects artists based on everyday experience, and in the case of planetary scale effects, the experience of special effects artists fails. For example, a Starcraft 2 cg with a planet exploding in the middle looks like this, an animation where the planet blows up from the inside, and the circular shockwave travels a distance of three to four planet radii in a matter of seconds, apparently too fast. And the planet explodes into several large boulders. On a scale as large as the planet, the propagation of shock waves all take minutes and tens of seconds of process (such as seismic waves), and it is impossible to have such a large monolithic fracture.

In fact, the planet should behave like a liquid at this point. This kind of special effect, based only on everyday experience, would make the planet appear small. In short, the larger the object, the slower it appears to be moving. Imagine a video of activity on the surface of the Sun, and you'll get the idea.

The main part of Wandering Earth's special effects focuses on the shape of the atmosphere. The slowness induced by the movement of this massive object comes across okay, but the atmosphere thrown off by the planet's motion still looks slightly thin. The other scene, where Saturn's surface fills the sky, should have been a bigger part of the movie, and it would have been nice to see how Saturn rises. As for the look of Saturn itself, it's not even a special effect. There are a ton of photos and videos taken by satellites and probes.

The other place where the special effects are allegedly dramatic is where the combustion effect is so thin and the colors are questionable.

By way of comparison, Star Trek's presentation of the black hole was stunning, but you have to realize that Star Trek's scientific advisor was a Nobel Prize winner, and the effects were actually simulated on a supercomputer. Let's just say that Wanderlust's corporate art did the best it could, the equations for the simulation were there, there were no technical barriers, and they just didn't have the money/didn't realize that they needed to hire the people and the equipment to do it.

Music: the movie's music is neither a plus nor a minus, and the atmosphere is pretty much spot on, but it's not particularly impressive, unlike Star Trek's bgm, which is heart-wrenching to listen to.

A sword to talk about the economy comment: first of all, the special effects of this film is okay, after all, is a foreign company to do, but the plot actor poor, wandering the earth and domestic films than is quite good, but bragging fork a little too much, the whole of the United States on the sixty-four movie screenings, indicating that in the United States would like to see a very small number of people, it is estimated to go to see all the Chinese, the total **** is only $ 2 million in the box office, there is something to be proud of? The main theme of the film deliberately speculation, put other movies to reduce the rate of scheduling, and is a domestic film protection month, most of the time to put this, the majority of the audience did not have a choice, so the box office is good, how much water on the clear, in fact, the old painting I saw halfway almost fell asleep, the plot is too bad, not strong logic, spit full of!

This time, Wu Yuan Pun and earn a lot of money, people who like the leadership is able to earn money! In addition how not to report the version shown in North America and the domestic version is completely different? Overall it's fine to watch, can't really say how good it is!

Last night before watching the movie, I struggled with whether to discipline myself to study, or to relax. The desire to relax prevailed and I got comfortable in the couch and watched Wandering Earth with my family.

At first it was a movie I was looking forward to seeing because of the reviews from my circle of friends. During the course of watching, I also recognized that this is the progress of China's science fiction movie, the special effects are good, and the content is also remarkable because of Liu Cixin's imagination. But I started to see Star Trek comparisons from the opening first scene images.

The comparison is involuntary, both "entrusted" to the old man, Star Trek is the old man, here is also the old man; the father's absence, both have no choice but to take on a heavy responsibility: to save the Earth, to save mankind. The time away is years, and the child grows up missing his father and angry at his abandonment; in the end, the father always refuses to abandon the Earth or its people because his loved ones (the children) are on Earth, and will do anything to "come back" to save the children, and to save the desperate human beings who are looking for hope in the midst of despair on the planet.

In the end, it is all because of the father's unwavering support that the child succeeds in finding a solution, and at the last moment the Earth and humanity find new hope.

In the end, humanity either evacuates the planet or forces it to beg the Sun's gravity to wander in search of new hope.

While I'm proud of the progress of Chinese cinema, I have to admit that Star Trek appealed to me a bit more. Especially the end of the movie, which surprisingly accomplishes a perfect LOOP: going back to childhood, to the scene before his father left in the first place, seeking inspiration and solving the problem at hand. This is also the case with Wandering Earth, except that I personally find the overlap between the past and the present in parallel universes and time wormholes to be more compelling and admirable than blowing up Jupiter and utilizing its shockwaves to solve the Earth's crisis.

And do not go to explore so much similarity, is not plagiarized suspicion, but the shock of the movie said the force, I personally feel that "Star Trek" is slightly better. These are all subjective feelings, and everyone has their own opinions. Maybe I like the smart and stubborn little girl and the beautiful and stubborn female scientist more than the rebellious and brave teenager. Maybe it's because the father's approach to his children's learning is something I strongly agree with: he's not a typical Chinese parent. He knew what the ultimate meaning of education was, not academic achievement, not to please the teacher. When the teacher wanted to meet the parents and criticized his two children separately, he very clearly pointed out the school's responsibility to defend his children.
