Tibet's Dazhao Temple has a long history, he was built in the seventh century during the heyday of the Tubo Dynasty. He has his own history, he inside the collection of cultural relics are carvings, statues of Buddha and Sakyamuni 12-year-old statue. It is a place of devotion.
We got up at three o'clock in the morning, the face did not wash straight to the Da Zhao Temple [shy], thought it was very early, and could not imagine that outside the Da Zhao Temple is already lined up with a long queue. Today is the white mother of three daughters in the second daughter's birthday (photo of this, do not know the history of her, really long into this? Smile)?
It is the Tibetan Women's Day, it is said that today if a woman asks for money from a man, no matter whether he knows or not, the man has to give the money, otherwise the next year will be a whole year is not auspicious. Hahaha, timid curious baby did not try (more or less regret), later hope to have the opportunity.?
Waiting until about five o'clock, only began to release people into the temple, today there are especially many people, because of the last experience, so I am a little worried about going in the scene, I hope that there will be no accidents, last time the scene is very chaotic, and always let me have the feeling of losing control of the fast, at any time there may be accidents.
But today, the PLA is maintaining order at three paces and five paces, so it's not a problem to have a lot of people, the key is to have management and order.
The crowd was well controlled today, and when I entered slowly, an old Tibetan woman made eye contact with me and talked to me. I didn't react at first, thinking how this Tibetan spoke so much like English,
Later, I thought, she must have seen me as a foreigner, such as a Korean.
When we walked to the small hall of the Dazhao Monastery, we saw that the monk who let us into the puja area that day stood on a high holy pot, and was pouring the barley wine offered by the believers into it, and then, all of them could continue to drink from the mouth below.
Rui used her bottle of mineral water to continue drinking, see her leaning back her neck to drink with gusto, I really have some admiration and some worry about her so drink, drunk how to do?
When I was thinking about it, I heard some Tibetan women singing and dancing, which I like, so I no longer stand aside, I can not help but and these Tibetan women dressed up to dance.
They are supposed to be dancing a kind of potshuang dance, which is actually simple and can be danced by many people together, and is a kind of collective dance. Previously when I traveled to Lijiang had danced a little with the locals, of course, Lijiang's simple, even if a little basic, here will be able to follow a dance.?
Besides them, it seems that I am the only Han Chinese dancing along, plus my traveler's attire is very different from their traditional Tibetan dress, so I am especially conspicuous, and they are looking at me, observing me, while I am immersed in the joy of dancing.
The dancing obviously brought us closer together, and after a few dances, they came up to toast me, and I didn't really like the barley wine because it wasn't very sweet, but you could feel that they were genuinely toasting you, and that touched me the most...
The dance was a great success, and I'm sure it was a great success.
Of course, I drank it, but the worst thing is, each person up must be three cups, they taught me how to drink according to their etiquette and habits, I did, the results of one after another, are three cups (it seems that the Tibetan people are also very hospitable, seemingly calm and indifferent expression is a warm and fiery heart).
At first I was able to cope with it, but I couldn't cope with a courtyard of Tibetans, not to mention that one person is three cups, I felt obviously not, people are also a bit drifted, at this time there is a Tibetan child also ran over to me with concern, said, aunty, you can't drink any more!
I also feel the feeling of drinking a little too much, basically to seven points, so stopped. As soon as I excused myself, they backed off and the group all dispersed, hospitable and really understanding too.?
They sang a Tibetan song again, and I stood by, not understanding the Tibetan language, but appreciating the melody and making friendly eye contact with the Tibetan sisters who had just made a toast. Listening happily, when the song ended, an older sister who had made a toast signaled and asked me to sing a song as well.?
I thought for a moment, and sang my favorite heavenly road, "Early in the morning, I stood on a high hillock, to see that the railroad repaired to my hometown, a huge dragon over the mountains, to the snowy plateau to bring good luck"?
This song they will sing, one after another began to sing up, and finally became a chorus, from the small hall, to the periphery of the queue, and then to the whole of the people in the Da Zhao Temple, the people are joyfully sang this lyrical song, the original loaded military and the dense crowd of tense and restrained atmosphere, instantly because of the resounding joy of the hall of the chorus, into a very joyful, peaceful, relaxed and happy up. The company's business is a very important part of the company's business, and it is a very important part of the company's business.
The People's Liberation Army (PLA), which maintains order, was also infected and relaxed, no longer so tense and serious. I think everyone present was infected by the atmosphere, which is the beauty of a song and the wonderful infectious power of art.
After the song, I couldn't find Rui, so I nervously asked all the libertines on the side, and they didn't know, and I was a little nervous about her because I felt she must be drunk. At this time I especially want to go to the bathroom (because of drinking too much barley wine), but do not know where to go, after groping for half a day by myself, how do not know how to find the bathroom.?
Finally was told that the bathroom in the back of the team, but because of the control of the crowd, so I can not go back, is anxious about how to do, a handsome handsome powerful PLA came up to me and said that he took me, he led me back against the flow of people to the center of the Great Zhao Temple, up to the second floor, to find the bathroom. Then told me Rui seems to be drunk, was taken away by a monk, after all this, I expressed my thanks, the PLA said goodbye to me and left. I immediately thought of Balsam, it should be him, in which case I am basically relieved.?
A soldier told me that the one who had just escorted me to the bathroom, that was their battalion commander, their top leader at the time, well, I admit I was honored and grateful [shy].?
I started to look around for Rui, and realized that after singing the song, the lamas in the Da Zhao Monastery knew me, and laughed when they saw me, making me embarrassed. With the help of the monks I soon found Balsang and asked him where Rui was, and sure enough Rui was drunk and was put to sleep in his room.?
He led me to the room where I was resting, and Rui was already asleep, so Balsang said you should sleep too. In fact, is very sleepy, because the morning get up early, so lie down, in addition to a little cold, other than the other okay. This sleep was so heavy, until I heard some noise, I got up and sat down, and realized that Rui is not beside me.
Soon Bassan came and I asked Rui where he was going and he said he was in his cubicle surfing the internet. So I found Rui, ready to go back, when I felt that both Balsan and Rui's expressions were unnatural, and the atmosphere was strange, not the friendly and relaxed, but I can not say why.?
When Balsam was approached by his colleagues to leave for something,
Rui pulled me aside and said to me that Balsam was a bad person. I thought about it for a moment and thought he was nice, so I asked her curiously why she said he was a bad guy. She told me that Balsan first asked her to introduce him to a girlfriend, and then said that he would look for someone like her. No wonder the atmosphere between the two of them was so weird.?
Looking at her confused look, and the way Balsan was sulking at the time like he had done something wrong, I couldn't help but sneer in my mind in a small bad way, so that's how it was!!!?
I and Rui said, Basang was sent to the monastery by his family at a very young age, and being a monk should not be his own choice, but the choice of his family.
As a normal male, it's ok if he sincerely likes you, it doesn't make him a bad person.?
Tibetan sects are divided into several sects, some of them are even allowed to get married and have children,
And Gelug religion forbids monks to get close to women, though if he withdraws from the religion and becomes a monk he is allowed to get married. I said what I thought and hoped that she would handle the relationship between the two of him properly.?
Leaning against the wall, Balsam?
Then I discussed topics such as learning a foreign language, the scriptures he is responsible for in the Da Zhao Monastery to bring together into the computer, and the daily management of the Da Zhao Monastery with Ba Sang, while Rui took photos.?
Today I took pictures of Balsang's cubicle, and lo and behold, on the wall is that soccer great (Qi from France), and in my opinion, Balsang is quite shy, quite cute, and quite a modern sense of a special lama!!!?
The wallpaper is happyday! (happyday)?
The two are back together! It's so nice to have the relationship back to normal!!!?
After chatting for a while, Rui and I were tired, so we said goodbye to Balsam together and left the Da Zhao Monastery to go back.
This time has been the evening, outside the Da Zhao Temple is still crowded. The first thing I did was to eat some food, and then I went to bed, and I had to make up for the previous day's sleep.
This is the first time I've been to the temple.
From Namtso, I met a new young girl who lived in the city, so I called her Rui, she is also a person who came to work in CNN, doing news interviews. She asked me to go to the Da Zhao Monastery in the morning, said that earlier you can see the Tibetans into the temple, go to the late, it is all tourists. We thought together, hope to be able to go to feel the Tibetans early in the morning pious pilgrimage to the grand situation.
In the morning, I woke up, washed up, the two set off together, outside is still bright, but the entrance to the Da Zhao Temple is already crowded, rows of long queues, we also joined them. I found this into the Da Zhao Temple, actually no one to find us two people to collect tickets, Da Zhao Temple on the local Tibetans is free, so early into the Da Zhao Temple, tourists as if we look like two people, the other are Tibetans.Early in the morning there are so many Tibetans to the Da Zhao Monastery, three hundred and sixty-five days a year, every day is a person. Many people are from far away, kowtow two or three years to Lhasa. In the end, what is the reason, the Da Zhao Temple in the minds of Tibetans is so attractive temple?
This is to start from the Da Zhao Temple by...?Tibetan people have a "first Da Zhao Temple, after the city of Lhasa," the statement, Da Zhao Temple in Lhasa City has a central position, not only geographic location, but also the level of social life.
Legend has it that when building the Da Zhao Temple, several times were flooded. Princess Wencheng explained that the entire Tibetan plateau is a supine Rakshasa woman. This witch in human form, head to the east, legs to the west supine arm, the Great Showa Temple is located in the lake was just the heart of the Rakshasa woman, the lake is its blood. So Princess Wencheng said Dazhao Temple must fill in the lake to build a temple, first of all, the heart of the devil to the town. Then Princess Wencheng also at the same time recommended another twelve small monasteries in remote areas, suppress the devil woman's limbs and various joints, *** built thirteen monasteries.?
According to the location chosen by Princess Wencheng, the construction of the temple first had to fill the lake. The main means of transportation at that time was to rely on goats carrying bags filled with sand and earth. That's how the lake was filled in, laying the foundation for the Dazhao Temple.?
In fact, the word Lhasa evolved from the Da Zhao Temple. The earliest Lhasa is not called LASA, the ancient books are RASA (i.e., "to be sa"), RA is a goat, SA is the land, meaning that the goat built the place.
Later, because of the construction of such a sacred Buddha Hall, which enshrines the image of Buddha, Buddhist scriptures, stupas, and the four sides of the believers to come here on pilgrimage, we all believe that this place is the Buddha's land, so it was renamed Lhasa - LA is the meaning of the Buddha in the Tibetan language, and SA is the ground.

The Golden Dome of the Da Zhao Temple?
The night is as crowded as the Da Zhao Temple?
Rui and I with the flow of people into the Da Zhao Temple, today probably should be a festival, so more people than usual. When the crowd entered, it felt several times are about to get out of control, indoor security, will come over to let those pushing and shoving people to keep order. When Rui and I walked to the main hall of the Da Zhao Temple, the monks inside were doing their rituals, and I took a few pictures of them with the camera in my hand.
This time, suddenly a security guard a big step, came up, will be my camera a hand on the past, said to me here is not allowed to take pictures, I said: that I do not shoot, the camera back to me. He said the inside has been shot SD card to be taken away, I was silent, he went on to say: Otherwise, the camera to be taken away.
I was also silent, then, he took the SD card out of the camera, and then ignored the Rui for me to intercede, but also ignored I have been pleading, that there is a month in Xinjiang I took pictures, please do not take away, I no longer take pictures well.?
He still took the SD card and disappeared into the crowd with a big stride. I was dizzy, leaning on the railing next to me, Rui also stood with me, I told Rui, an SD card is nothing, but there are photos of me in Xinjiang for a month, if he took it away, he would surely destroy the photos inside, what to do
Rui told me not to be too upset, together and think of another way. Is it possible to find the temple's stewardship staff and beg for mercy to see?
We were both discussing this when a lama came up to us who was doing the puja and presiding over the whole puja event.
He greeted us kindly and then asked me if there was anything I needed help with. Probably seeing the sadness on my face...?
Rui told him the whole thing, then, he said to me, don't be too sad, I'll help you to think of a way, there shouldn't be any problem, the card can be retrieved. Now I have to officiate the puja, it's almost over, as soon as the puja is done, I'll go to him, I'll definitely help you get it back.?
I was worried that this security guard would destroy the photos in the card, so the waiting time was just a huge ordeal for me.?
Well a puja was over, the presiding lama left, and then another lama inside, invited us into the area where the puja was being done (everyone else who entered this area were Tibetans who had paid tribute to the temple for something) so we could sit behind the lamas and wait.?
After quite a long time, and no sign of him coming back, I was left with a feeling of despair, a feeling of absolute regret and chagrin, and kept blaming myself: why did you have to take these pictures, this is great, isn't it?
At this point, he came back, very calm and serious look came over to me, I think, then he would say: I'm sorry, this security guard refused to return the card to you. (Wouldn't that be a happy look if he got it back?). ), he calmly walked over to us, looked at us calmly, and then opened his palm up, and my SD card was lying in the center of his palm, and I was instantly frozen in disbelief that he actually got it back for me.?
Rui asked why it took so long, and he replied, "At first the guard refused to return the card, and he said he had already paid tribute to Sakyamuni Buddha for it. I told him that the tourists' card contains photos taken during a month of traveling in Xinjiang, and the tourists didn't know that they couldn't take photos of the puja, and now that they know, they already feel that it's wrong to do so, and have admitted their mistakes, and have promised not to take any more photos. Therefore, the card should be returned to the tourist, and if Shakyamuni Buddha were there, he would agree to do the same." ?
The security guard didn't want to give it back at first, he just stood there quietly, waited for a while, the security guard still didn't take out the card, so he said to the security guard, if you don't return the card, I will tell the supervisor about it, so that the supervisor can solve the problem. The security guard heard this and immediately ran away, I stood still and waited, and it was quite a long time before he came running back and handed me the card, and only then did I come back. So it was a bit long, I'll keep you guys waiting...?
I hastened to say, I'm so grateful for the trouble, the card is very important to me. Thank you so much, if it wasn't for your help today, even if we get your temple's administrator to fix this, I guess the whole process goes down, I'm afraid that the security guards have already destroyed the photo in the card, then even if we get the card back, it won't mean much to me. Thank you so much!!!?
He just smiled lightly and said it was the right thing to do. Then he said to us, My name is Basant, I'm glad to have met you all today, and if there's anything else in the future, you can come and see me.?
I said: today at noon please you and Rui, we will have a lunch together, okay?
Basan smiled and said: it's okay, I did the puja in the morning, and I happen to be fine this afternoon.?
I said: ok, we are new here, let you choose the place, Rui and I will go with you.?
Balsam told us to wait for him, Rui and I waited for a group of people, he came, changed into civilian clothes, just saw so shocked, as if in the street met a Tibetan boy, can not see that it is a lama.?
We walked out of the Da Zhao Monastery together and went to a store next to it. In this store stood a group of people, is selling some religious clothing and paraphernalia and so on.?
The counter, stood a very good-looking middle-aged Tibetan women, and Balsang talking, not long, walked into a kind smile slightly fat middle-aged man, and Balsang warmly greeted, and then took us away.?
We came together to a quite high-level Tibetan restaurant, in a beautiful private room, Balsam gave us an introduction, it turned out that the middle-aged man is Balsam's cousin uncle, he talked well, very some of the people style, temperament and usually see Tibetans are not quite the same.
The uncle ordered food, we talked and waited, he asked us roughly, and then Balsang told about today's events, the uncle smiled and said: this security guard did not do the right thing, but fortunately, Balsang helped him to correct over.
The food came up and we ate and talked.?
It turns out that the uncle, once in the temple since childhood to study Buddhism, has been to a lot of temples, but also in Hong Kong's temple lived for several years, until one day, he met a beautiful girl, from then on, he was not interested in practicing Buddhism, and finally returned to secularism, and the girl married to the life of the ordinary people.
I gently asked Balsam if the beautiful lady in the store just now was the boss's wife and if she was your aunt, and Balsam smiled and said yes.?
Having happily eaten my lunch, when the waiter came, I said to pay the bill, only to be told that the money had already been paid. I turned my head to look at Balsam quizzically, remembering that he had gone out for a while among other things, and assumed that he was going to the restroom. He smiled matter-of-factly and then said, I've already paid it. Well, that would have to do for now, thinking to myself that I'd like to show my sincere appreciation to Ba & Rui for the treat some other time then...?
After the meal, Rui suggested to stroll around together in the afternoon, we discussed it and went to walk around the Potala Palace. On the way, I learned that Balsam actually ride motorcycles on the streets of Lhasa, he is really a very modern lama, really can not see, you can not look at the face.
The Potala Palace wall, the transepts, there are a lot of old Tibetans are turning the sutra.?
Walked around the Potala Palace and took pictures, which Rui took when I tied my turban?
This is Rui's shot of Balsam.?
The Potala Palace is still beautiful.?
The Potala Palace in the morning light?
The Potala Palace in the evening sunlight
The Potala Palace in the night sky. Afterwards, Balsang also went back to Pinchok with us, because we had a late and good lunch, and we didn't feel like having dinner at night, so we bought some snacks in case we were hungry at night.
