For entertainment. There's no rule that says a resident can't.
But after all, it is not conducive to cultivation. Do not advocate.
The Eight Guanzhai Precepts. It is stated that one should not make a kabuki music, so one should not go to the audience to listen to it. This is explicitly not allowed.

The Sutra of the Additional Aham (excerpt)
The Eight Precepts of Lent. It is the Buddhas of the past and present. They were made for those who were in the family.
One is not to kill.
The second is not to steal.
Three, do not kill.
The fourth is to refrain from delusional speech.
Fifth, not to drink alcohol.
Sixth, not to sit on high beds.
Seven, I don't make music for the sake of watching and listening. I don't wear scented and smoky clothes.
The eighth does not pass the midday meal.
These are the things that should be practiced
No killing or stealing. Do not kill, do not steal, do not speak illogically. Stay away from alcohol and flowers. Eat in a high bed, not in the middle of the day.
All saints stay away. These are the eight laws. You should be able to do all these things.
The merit of holding this fast. You will not fall into the hells, the hungry ghosts, or the beasts of burden. I will not fall into Asura.
If one is born in heaven, one is born in Brahma. If you are born in heaven, you will always be born in Brahma Heaven. If you are born in heaven, you will always be born in Brahma Heaven, and you will be born in the world of the Buddha.
