How to tour Xishuangbanna?
I don't know if the three to five days you mentioned includes the round trip time on the road. There are a lot of attractions in Xishuangbanna, but they are all spread around with Jinghong city as the center. If it is the first time to Banna, you can follow this itinerary.D1:Fly to Banna; live in a hotel; D2:Primitive Forest Park + Zhongke Botanical Garden + Firefly Party; live in a hotel; D3:Dai Zhai + Wild Elephant Valley; live in a hotel; (Lancangjiang River Cruise or Lancangjiang River Rafting Impressions)D4:Big Buddha Temple + Gaozhuang - get off the plane and send off Day 1:. Arrive at the beautiful Xishuangbanna by plane, pick up and arrange to check in the hotel. In the evening, you can have free time to stroll around Gaozhuang, visit the night market and taste the Dai cuisine. Accommodation:Xishuangbanna Marina International Hotel (Jinghong)Day 2:Rainforest walk through the tropical jungle, natural forest oxygen bar, firefly party. After breakfast, set off to the national AAAA level scenic spot Primitive Forest Park, take the sightseeing electric car, watch the 100 meters relief, wild peacock flying show, unique woods, cottage song and dance show of love, nine dragons waterfalls and ethnic minority musical instrument performance; visit the Tropical Botanical Garden of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and visit the Chinese Tropical Botanical Gardens Menglun Botanical Gardens in Riverside. After visiting the China Tropical Rainforest Culture Museum, view thousands of rare tropical rainforest plants such as dancing grass, mystery fruit, blood seal tree, strangler tree and bamboo garden. In the evening, join a firefly party in the forest. The fireflies glitter in the quiet forest, decorating a beautiful night, return to Jinghong after a tiring time. Accommodation:Xishuangbanna Marina International Hotel (Jinghong)Day 3:Into Xishuangbanna - close to nature and close contact with elephants, see peacocks flying; after breakfast go to Dai Village to play Dai Village. The village is a typical Dai village, the building is a "dry fence" bamboo building, with the bamboo fence between households as a fence, forming its own courtyard. The Dai village is surrounded by coconut, banana, bamboo and other fruit trees, everywhere lush, subtropical scenery, exotic flavor. After lunch, take a bus to visit Sanqiaohe Nature Reserve infested with Asian elephants, feel the tropical primitive forest, watch the rare birds, Asian wild python, butterflies. Wild Elephant Valley Elephant School, where you will test the close contact with Asian elephants, elephant display activities, bathe the elephants, clean the elephant house, feed the elephants, take pictures with elephants. Evening Lancang River Cruise or Bonfire Party / Afternoon Lancang River Rafting. The best way to explore the scenery of Lancang River is by boat rafting. The entire Lancang River is less than two hours downstream. On the way will pass through the spectacular Xishuangbanna Bridge, there are small Dai villages with foot-hanging buildings, there can be a water fight in the shallows, the middle of the island can also eat tropical fruits and drink rice wine to feel the Dai style (warm reminder: Xishuangbanna in case of the rainy season or rainy days do not recommend rafting). Accommodation: Xishuangbanna Marina International Hotel (Jinghong) Day 4: Peacock country - Xishuangbanna to find the Dai culture, Buddhist temple prayers; after breakfast to the Big Buddha Temple, feel the characteristics of this place, for the family to pray for peace and security, enjoy the ethnic culture and architectural style, go to the landmarks of Xishuangbanna, drink afternoon tea, chatting, strolling through the streets, waiting for the flight time, and then fly back to the warmth of the afternoon. Wait for the flight time, fly back to your warm home in the afternoon, end this pleasant trip! The above is my recommended four-day tour. If you have five days, I suggest you add another day to see the sky tree, climb China's first world's highest canopy air corridor. Or go to the Dai Garden and attend the Water Splashing Festival every day.
