The design scheme of Zhuhai Grand Theatre not only comes from the unique marine species "sun, moon and shell", but also refines the image of "shell" to further express the meaning of space with modern building materials and technology. The shape of two groups of "shells", one large and one small, constitutes the overall image of the opera house.
The project of Zhuhai Grand Theatre adopts the world-advanced acousto-optic design and stage craft design. The Grand Theatre can accommodate 1600 people. It consists of three parts: the front hall, the audience hall and the stage, which can meet the needs of large-scale musicals, musicals, ballets, dramas, symphonies and large-scale comprehensive performances. The small theater can accommodate 500 people.
