The performance venues of traditional Chinese opera are of many kinds, with different styles, characteristics and construction scales in different historical periods.
The most primitive performance venues are plazas, halls and terraces, and then there are temples and music buildings, tile markets, mansion stages, restaurants and teahouses, theaters and modern theaters and numerous mobile stages. In terms of its distribution, but also extremely wide, from the city to the countryside, from the plains to the mountains, wherever there is a crowd gathered, almost all have a large or small, or today or ancient, or complicated or simple theater.
Theaters are the theater of the Chinese people. Chinese opera can be called "theater culture". Various forms of theater building constitutes the traditional opera performance space, forming a unique Chinese theater theater theater.
