The so-called "eighteen monsters of Yunnan" is a description of Yunnan's unique geographic location, folk customs and folklore produced by a number of unique and even some strange phenomena or way of life. There are many versions of the eighteen monsters of Yunnan, some of which have slowly disappeared, some of which remain, some of which are exaggerated, and some of which are three common ones.
