Information about the Tujia Pendulum Hand Dance in Enshi City.

Pendulum dance is an ancient traditional dance of the Tujia people, mainly circulated in the Youshui River basin at the junction of Hubei, Hunan and Chongqing, with Xiushan County and Youyang County in Chongqing Municipality, Laifeng in Enshi Autonomous Prefecture of Hubei Province, and Longshan and Yongshun in Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture of Hunan Province as the main inheritance places, and there are four sections in the ****.

The Pendulum Dance is divided into two kinds: the Big Pendulum Dance and the Small Pendulum Dance. In Tujia language, it is called "Sevbax (Sevbaxbax)" or "Sevbaxbax (Sevbaxbax)". The big swinging hand is called Yevtixhhex (Ye Tiehex) in Tujia language. It integrates the art of dance and physical fitness, and is known as the "Oriental Disco".
