Wulin square.
Wulin Square (Wulin square) is located in Hangzhou Gongshu District on the north side of the West Lake, in front of the Zhejiang Provincial Exhibition Center, because the square is located in the Wulin Gate plot quadrant, so it gets this name. Wulin square is surrounded by new high-rise buildings, there are telecom building, Hangzhou building, Hangzhou theater, Hangzhou international building, Hangzhou department store building, and so on, so into the center of Hangzhou busy and garden-style square.
Wulin Square refers to the name of the area around the northern end of Yan'an Road, to the west of the Wulin Gate. Wulin Square northeast of the original Song Tianzong water gate, the end of the Yuan Dynasty, the water gate to change the land gate called the small north gate. 1969 built "Mao Zedong Thought Victory long live the exhibition hall", the square for its supporting facilities, commonly known as the Red Sun Plaza. 1977 the original museum was renamed Zhejiang Exhibition Center, the following year, the square was renamed the Wulin Plaza.

Group carving not only vivid image, showing the atmosphere of song and dance, but also symbolizes the May 3, 1949 liberation of Hangzhou.
