Introduction on March 3

March 3, a dance of Li nationality, shows the customs of Li nationality in eastern Hainan. Every year on the third day of the third lunar month, local people wish agriculture and hunting a bumper harvest during the day, and at night men and women dress up and go to the coconut grove in groups of three or five to find love. 1957, the 6th World Youth Student Festival was held in Moscow, and Chen Qiao's Li dance "March 3rd" was also selected as a performance program.
