The Cherry Blossom Garden of Peace and Friendship officially opened in Nanjing on June 3, 20081. This friendly project, promoted by Liu Hongyou, a calligrapher living in China, chairman of the All-Japan Calligraphers Association and president of the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Institute, will go through three phases of construction, and finally be built into the world's largest Sino-Japanese exchange scenic spot, Japanese cultural village, Chinese character culture research center and calligraphy education base in Nanjing, the ancient capital of the Six Dynasties in China. The "Peace and Friendship Cherry Garden" inscribed by former Japanese Prime Minister Junshu Haibei is located at the foot of Niushou Mountain in the south of Nanjing, where there are places of interest such as Zheng He's Tomb and the Second Mausoleum of Nantang. The "Peace and Friendship Cherry Garden" was planned in 2002, and the famous Japanese landscape designer Hayakawa Tunan, who has designed more than 400 parks and is also the designer of the Showa Memorial Hall, is the chief designer. In the first phase of the project, office buildings and guest houses will be built, and a central trading square and a long 1.5km wall will be built. Of course, the most striking thing is the continuous planting of 10000 cherry blossoms. The second phase of the project was completed on 20 10, and three buildings, namely the Peace and Friendship Museum, the China Calligraphy Museum and the Management Center, will be built in the park. The third phase of the project is scheduled to take shape on October 5th, 20/kloc. It is planned to build a Japanese tea ceremony pavilion, a japanese ikebana pavilion, a Japanese cuisine training pavilion, a pseudonym bookstore pavilion, a Japanese dance pavilion, a bang music pavilion, a judo pavilion, a kendo pavilion, a ceramic art museum and a Go pavilion. , collectively known as the "Japanese Cultural Club". At this point, the "Peace and Friendship Cherry Blossom Pavilion" is not only China, but also the first comprehensive Japanese cultural base outside Japan, and will also become a scenic spot of Sino-Japanese friendship. In the peaceful and friendly cherry blossom garden, there are 7,500 cherry blossoms with a 20% discount, which can bloom for one month. It is worth mentioning that there are more than ten varieties of octoploid cherry in the cherry garden, including almost all the octoploid cherry varieties in China at present. Colors are red, yellow, pink and white.
