Let the Bullets Fly for a Little While Goose Town Synopsis:

Eight thoroughbred, high-headed white horses With hooves flying and wheels rumbling against the railroad tracks, the two trains are rushing through the mountains of southern China in a fantastic spectacle of a "horse-drawn train". Steam rises from the chimneys at the front of the train, but the source of the steam is actually a giant hot pot inside the train.

Sitting around the hot pot are Lao Tang (Ge You), a man who has bought his way into office, along with his wife (Carina Lau) and his master (Feng Xiaogang). Unbeknownst to the satisfied Lao Tang, a crisis awaits him, and their fates are about to change forever.

While Lao Tang and the others are drinking and enjoying themselves inside the train, Zhang Muzhi (Jiang Wen), a green warrior bandit, leads his brothers into an ambush on both sides of the valley. A few gunshots break through the sky, and as Zhang Muzhi's words "Let the bullets fly for a while" fall, a dazzling heist unfolds.

The train rises up in the air and falls into the water, and Lao Tang and his wife become Zhang Muzhi's prisoners. In order to save their lives, Lao Tang has the bright idea to lie that he is a master, and Zhang Muzhi embarks on the road to become an official governor in the city. Zhang Muzhi is transformed from a bandit into a nobleman named Ma Bangde, and the relationship between him and Lao Tang is transformed from life and death rivals to partners.

Zhang Muzhi is very proud of his appointment to Goose Town. Huang Silang (Chow Yun Fat), a bully who guards Goose Town, is eyeing him with a vengeance. Huang, who is known as one of the most powerful bullies in the South, started his business by smuggling arms and Chinese laborers, and became a powerful man in the era of warlords. He had a large number of clients and soldiers; he bullied men and women and roamed the countryside.

Originally, Zhang Muzhi only wanted to make a profit, but after he took office in Goose Town, he became much more ambitious. Huang Silang and his clique's bullying behavior stirred up Zhang Muzhi's passion to save the country and the people. During the day, he is a Sherlock Holmes-like clean official to hear and pass judgment on wrongdoings. At night, he is a Robin Hood-style bandit, robbing the rich to help the poor.

These moves certainly offended the interests of Huang Silang, the two forces in the Goose Town water fire incompatible, blade to blade, both sides of the successive beauty plan, double-crossing, empty city and other strategies, both sides of the battle of wits and courage, a pile of murders in the Goose Town one after another, the firefighting and armed fighting is also constantly escalating.
