In the European and American music world, there are not many singers who mainly sing love songs, and few even sing well enough to mesmerize people. Today, Edge Shaw will take you through Memory Killers, an age-exposed but truly ecstatic band of love songs:Mike Learns to Rock.
Mike Snow Rock is a rock band from Sweden, formed in 1988. It started out as a resident singer in a coffee shop or bar. This band has been lucky. Why? Because in their first year of existence, they were given the opportunity to perform on a professional stage, and this performance led to their successful signing to a record label. It's safe to say the road to development hasn't had many twists and turns.
In 1991, the group released their first self-titled album, Michael Leinstrock, which was an instant hit. It topped the music charts in Sweden, Denmark and other countries. In 1993, Victory pursued a second album, "Colors," which was far more popular than the first. In response, the band launched its own world tour, which won the Southeast Asian Pop Act of the Year award. All living in Southeast Asia, the band's strength was evident.
While Mike's rock has been a huge hit in the European and American markets, and even in the Asia-Pacific market, its popularity in China can be traced back to the 2004 album "Michael Learns to Rock," known in China as "Take Me to Your Heart," which may have given the band the desire to get closer to the heart of the domestic audience. The album cover, featuring Jacky Cheung's singles "Kiss Me Goodbye" and "Take Me To Your Heart," really fulfills the band's wish. Yes, "Take Me to Your Heart" was published first in Chinese and then in English, and the band managed to break into the domestic market with this album.
Though labeled a rock band for many years, the band is better known for its love songs, sweet or bitter, some of which have become insurmountable classics, such as "Take Me to Your Heart" or "But I'm Not the One You're Missing in Your Heart". That's Why You Walk Away I Know" has been sung in the hearts of thousands of people. Other sweet love songs always make you feel that deep love will overflow. For example, "Fairytale" feels like a spring breeze.
It's fair to say that Mike Rock was one of the most famous bands of the last century, and many of the first English-language songs now come from them. Now these three old men aren't as handsome as they were in the sunshine, but they still get you going when the beat comes on. What do you think of Mike Rock? Feel free to leave a comment.
