Central Digital Television Elderly Channel is approved by the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television (SARFT) and hosted by Shanxi Radio and Television General Administration (SRTA), which is China's only digital TV pay-per-view channel for the elderly viewers across the country. Starting from October 8, 2005, the channel is broadcasted on CCTV's wholly-owned Digital China Media as its integrated transmission platform. It is now available in 31 provinces in China.
