Song: Home in the Northeast

Singer: Pang Long Album: Two Butterflies

Lyrics: Kong Jiahuan, Han Dong?

Songwriter: Kong Jiahuan, Han Dong

Hey...hey, my home is in the Northeast.

On the Songhua River, there are mountains full of soybean sorghum.

There are two big poplars in front of the green mountains and green water.

The whole hedge, a small straw room ah.

Hey...my dad's not doing anything.

It's always a good idea to have a drink, even if you don't have any food.

Big bowls of tea, big bowls of wine, neighbors on both sides.

The five leaders are six, six, six, six, six, six, six.

Hey...yo, my mom's voice has been loud since I was a kid.

Every day she went to the school with a song in her hand and sang it to the old man.

Putting down her big tobacco bag, she sang to the young man.

More than ever, she misses her girl, and she sings to the old lady.

Put down your needle and thread and listen to the song.

The tears in her eyes were so deep that she forgot to wash her clothes.

Oh...yo, oh...

My home is in the Northeast, my home is in the Northeast.

My home is in the northeast, on the Songhua River.

There are mountains full of soybean sorghum, in that green mountains and green water.

There are two big poplars in front of the door, a neatly fenced yard, a small straw house.

Hey...yo, my home is in the northeast.
