Where is the most convenient place to stay when traveling in Chengdu:
I stayed at a hotel, Xuan Ya Yue Ying Hotel, across the street from the Chun Xi Road Pedestrian Street.207 The price is okay and the location is relatively good. When you go to the subway station and pedestrian street, it is very close to the hotel. The room we stayed in had no windows and was slightly decorated. However, when we went in at night, we opened the door for half an hour and didn't get it. This could be due to lack of ventilation. At that time, I read a lot of hotel descriptions on the Internet near Chunxi Road, and the chain hotels like Ru Jia were older. I was tired.
August 22, 2017, it suddenly occurred to me that the vacation is coming to an end. Should the baby play once before school starts?
Looked at a lot on the website and finally chose Chengdu. For a playdate with the kids, we chose to take the train and get there in 9 hours. (Airfare is too expensive. It's more than 6000 for a round trip for three people.)

Departed from Hanyang Guozigou at 9:00 am, transferring from line 3 to line 2 to Hankou station. It took me some time to pick up my ticket and go through security. I arrived at the ticket gate around 10:20am and caught the 10:43am train. 9 hours later, I arrived at Chengdu East Railway Station. After leaving the East Railway Station, I followed the signs and went straight to the subway station. I took line 2 to Chunxi Road, and the hotel I booked was nearby.
(Transportation in Chengdu is still very convenient. Taking a taxi is not recommended after leaving the East Railway Station. The subway is the most convenient. Purposefully asked friends in Chengdu, Chunxi Road shopping, transportation, food, and even supermarket shopping are very convenient.)
Friends reminded me that there has been a lot of rain lately, so be sure to bring rain gear. Sure enough, I put my luggage away and went downstairs for dinner. It was already raining.
But the rain couldn't stop us from eating. It takes 7 or 8 minutes to walk to the pedestrian street. It was the seventh day of the seventh lunar month and there were a lot of beautiful women on the street. Haha, the baby also asked why everyone is wearing so few clothes. What a warm city, with bellies, shoulders and backs exposed.
There is chicony on the pedestrian street. the first floor is basically all food, but it's not much. The point is, they close after 9pm.
Isn't it Tanabata? The girls are still shopping and you guys are closed. Is it a holiday? Horsewhip
Don't worry, ask your friends, let's go straight to the Dragon Hands main store and eat more. I was told that everyone ordered the set menu, so we ordered one too. Holy crap, that bowl is so small, like a baby's tiny toy. I didn't think it was right, it wasn't enough to eat at all. My friend later told me that it was specially prepared for out-of-towners and the portion was so small that it was just for people to taste the freshness and deliciousness before buying. I loved the hot and sour wontons. My husband said the bell dumplings were good, and my baby said the sweet noodles were good.
Eat your fill, brave the rain, and hurry back to the hotel to get a good rest and look forward to tomorrow!
The original plan was to get up at 6:00 a.m., go out at 7:00 a.m., and see the pandas at 8:00 a.m. According to the online guide, it was said to be late. The baby panda would go back to sleep in the air-conditioned room after breakfast, so there was no need to see it. However, plans never catch up. The three didn't even hear the alarm clock go off. When they got up, it was already 7:30. Well, take your time then.
Lu Chun subway station, 4 dollars a person sitting on Panda Avenue, when he got off the car, he also said that this is the most convenient way to take a taxi. He was in - the scenic area to see the more convenient through train, it is directly on the car to buy the scenic area tickets, free to the door of the scenic area. The key is that the ticket is cheaper than online. Is there anything more convenient than that?
(Here, I'll just _嗦了. If you don't join the tour, you can just take this bus. As long as you buy attraction tickets, they are free. Panda base tickets are cheaper than online. Tickets to other attractions are the original price, but not more expensive than online. It can also sprinkle
Online, it says you can buy a lot of souvenirs at the attraction and donate them to the panda. Honestly, I don't know if there's any real donations, but I do know that the souvenirs inside are expensive, so I bought my kids a panda hair clip ($10) and a panda figurine (medium size, $25) to leave at the entrance.
I also did a guide before I went, but once I went in and got a map of the scenic area, my family got confused and couldn't tell the way. Anyway, play with the army is right. Only remember to see the panda theater, the sun maternity ward, the moon maternity ward, the other did not pay attention.
Fortunately, the weather was good, with moderate rain reported, but cloudy and cool, in line with the panda's habits. He likes it cool and fears the heat.
Entry to the park after 10:00 may be a little late. Many of the pandas are in sleep mode and only their butts can be seen. I was a bit active and played in the garden.
My baby and I came to see the panda dumplings and we got what we wanted. In the delivery room, we saw the soft dumplings, which were really cute!
We got out of the panda base at 12:30, went to the through-train service point to buy tickets to the Wuhou Temple, and left at 1:00am. Taking advantage of this time, we eat at the door, said the door of the cold noodle store taste good, and not expensive, went to 5 dollars, where the watermelon, cantaloupe, fruit are the children's favorite. Not my recommendation. Not delicious.
The staff also told us that it usually takes about an hour to get to the Wuhou Temple. During this time, we could rest in the car for a while!
Entered the Wuhou Ancestral Temple around 2:00pm.
Personally, if you are interested in this culture, ask for a guided tour. It's very detailed. Find your own and it may be just like the rest of us. We just wandered around with our kids and took pictures, they were not allowed to play inside. Stayed less than an hour and they came out.
Behind the back door of the Wuhou Temple is Jinli. Usually people who come here will stroll around Jinli, so just take the back door.
To be honest, there is not much shopping in Jinli. The pattern of the ancient streets is that there is a snack street outside of Jinli. We ate the famous Three Guns, casually strolled around, and left, mainly because there were too many people inside, everyone was eating and eating and couldn't turn the corner.
After coming out, I asked my friend. Jinli has a lot of chili sauce and dried chili peppers, she suggested that we do not buy, that is, specializing in the business of outsiders. The stuff is expensive, but locals usually don't eat those brands, and suggested we go straight to the supermarket. There are well-known local brands that are also cheaper.
(Carrefour activities, red flag supermarkets similar to Wuhan's Zhongbai supermarket, very convenient)
4:00, take the scenic area through the car, 2 dollars a person. Children also need to buy tickets, but it is very convenient. A quarter of an hour to Chunxi Road, and friends ate a hot pot, the locals love to eat. It was really good and not too expensive.
That was the end of a day of eating and drinking. I didn't dare to book a pass to Dujiangyan for fear that I wouldn't be able to get up the next morning. Eight in the morning is a bit early.
2017.8.30
This was the earliest day to get up, and not surprisingly, it was still late. Luckily I didn't book the 8am through train, haha.
Took line 2 from the hotel to Chunxi Road at 10:00 and arrived at Rhinoceros station in 32 minutes. You can see the Intercity Express ticket vending machine when you get out of the car. 10 yuan has the ticket, and you can get off at Lidu Park. (No need to book tickets online, there are plenty of tickets, you can buy them directly, paypal payment)
11:40 on time, outside all the private cars, 5 yuan a person, but we did not sit. Let's fix lunch before entering the scenic area. (randomly found a delicious store specializing in beef)
Out of the station, out of the alley, you will see a fountain square. Turn your back to the square and look to your left. It says Xuanhua Gate, keep going forward, turn left at the end and you will see the South Bridge.
(Inside Xuanhua Gate is a restaurant street, huh, but nothing good to eat. It's all chain stores. One more thing, when you get to the end, remember to turn left. When you see Dujiangyan Gate, don't go up there. That's the back door. As you go up the hill, a staff member will tell you there is a tower on the hill. If you want to see it, you can buy a ticket here. All the other gates are closed and you can't get into the scenic area. Either way, we rolled a quid.
Didn't touch the scenic gate until after 2 (cried myself silly). They were all queuing for tickets. They booked directly online which was cheap and easy. By the way, the return trip was booked on the Intercity Express (time 19:18), which was the last train of the day, for fear of not being able to get back if it was full of passengers.
The truth is, once again, there's not much to see at the viewpoint. We were tired because of the long road ahead, so we went straight to the sightseeing bus. One of the guides on the bus said that you can visit three attractions directly, Fish Mouth, Annan Suoqiao, and Bao Ping Mountain (I think those are the three names, haha).
The other places were under maintenance and blocked off, I couldn't get in. Felt cheated. Three places, I quickly strolled through. It was still early, so Anansor Bridge ran and went two ways.
(Scenic spot has a brown sugar poop drops, taste good, you can try.) When you come out, 4 o'clock, do not want to catch the bus, so do not want to change. You find a small store at the Xuanhua Gate to eat, drink and chat with tourists.
I rested for two hours before leaving. I felt energized again after a night's sleep on the Intercity Express. line 2 knew that I could get to Huitongmen in 10 minutes and walk to KuanNarrow Alley. Anyway, it was a day of no stops and no rest.
I've been glad I didn't go to Mount Qingcheng, otherwise, my feet would definitely not be my own.

Today it rained, I slept well. went to Carrefour around 10:00 and bought N many beef jerky (Chuan Hanzi's, it's really tasty), chili peppers, beef sauce, and buckwheat tea (this one I also recommend. My friend said their family are long-term drink this, lower three high, open intestine. Beauty, there are two local brands of Sanjiang and Huantai, black buckwheat flavor is more pure and light). We also
After resting for 2 hours, I was energized again. I asked my friend if the Sichuan Opera was worth watching. She still recommended us to experience it. After comparing, we didn't choose the traditional theater. We found an old theater in the Broad and Narrow Alley, 68 a person, there are children sit for free, ordered tea and melon seeds (if you are with children, I think you can pay directly in the theater, online booking. It's all set price, more than a hundred.
I like to drink a big bowl of tea, knocking small melon seeds, listening to small opera. Don't be afraid that I won't be able to read it. Now, all the lines are synchronized with subtitles. I watched with interest as the whole White Snake story came down, and Baby didn't know much about the show, but the back-and-forth somersaults, the martial arts fights, and the face-changing at the end made her giddy with excitement, and she said it was very good.
When we left the theater, we were still enjoying ourselves as a family. I really feel that the national culture should continue to flourish. It was fantastic and made me want to retire in Chengdu!
Walking along, I went to a place in the Shichun Theater, which will also be a theater place. I ran in and looked around. Haha, it was all food and I found eggs that the baby wanted to eat. The baby said it was the best food she had ever eaten in Chengdu. Haha (I guess it was spicy everywhere and she was depressed) and had my favorite thing, grass paste. At first I thought it was turtle jelly, but the owner said.
2017.9.1
A pleasant trip came to an end. On the way back to Han, I was always reluctant to leave. I love Chengdu, the cute panda buns, the delicious food and the old theater there!
