Nadeshiko Chibaishi is one of the main characters in the light novels and anime adaptations of Weishin Nishio's Monogatari series. She is a young girl entangled in a snake, and is the only victim of the "curse" spread by Bekki Mud Boat. She is an introverted, quiet and well-behaved girl who is extremely shy and afraid of strangers. She is not used to meeting people's eyes and always wears a hat with a brim. Nadeshiko Chibishi has a unrequited love for Aryangi Calendar, and is called "the shy girl" by Bleat Oshino.
