The five-star red flag is fluttering in the wind,?

How loud are the victory songs?

Singing our dear motherland,?

From now on, we will be prosperous and strong. ?

Singing our dear motherland,?

From now on, we will become prosperous and powerful.?

Over the mountains, across the plains,?

Across the rushing Yellow River and Yangtze River;?

This vast and beautiful land,?

It is our dear hometown,?

The heroic people have stood up!?

Our unity and friendship are as strong as steel.?

The five-star red flag flutters in the wind,?

How loud the victory song is

Singing our dear Motherland,?

From now on, we will be prosperous and strong.?

Singing our dear motherland,?

From now on, we will be prosperous and strong?

We are hardworking and brave,?

Independence and freedom are our ideals;?

How many hardships have we overcome,?

We have achieved today’s liberation! ?

We love peace, we love our hometown,?

Whoever dares to violate us will be killed!?

The five-star red flag is fluttering in the wind,?

How loud is the victory song?

Singing our dear motherland?

From now on we will be prosperous and strong.?

Singing our dear motherland, ?

From now on we will be prosperous and powerful.?

The sun in the east is rising,?

The people’s republic is growing;?

Our leader Mao Zedong,?

Guide the way forward.?

Our lives are improving every day,?

Our future is bright. ?

The five-star red flag flutters in the wind,?

How loud the victory song is;?

Singing our dear motherland,?

From now on Towards prosperity and strength.?

Singing our dear motherland,?

Towards prosperity and strength from now on.
