The Story Introduction of Ballet The Red Female Soldier

Based on the combat achievements of female soldiers during the Second Revolutionary Civil War, the play focuses on Qionghua Wu's experience of growing from a slave to a warrior, and shows the revolutionary spirit and heroic integrity of women fighting for freedom and women's liberation in the old society under the leadership of the China Communist Party. The play well reproduces the heroine Qionghua Wu's brave, stubborn, deep and kind character, and shapes the heroic image of Hong Changqing, a cadre of the Red Army, with rich ideological connotation and strong artistic appeal.

Hainan Island

Qionghua, the maid of the bully landlord Fu Nan, was imprisoned in the dungeon of Nanba Tian. Lao Si, the leader of Tuanding, was ordered to sell her. Qionghua kicked off the lantern while the old four was unprepared and ran for her life.

Scene 1: The red female soldier company was established.

The Red Army opened the granary in Nanbatian and distributed the grain to the masses.

Scene 4: On the Red Army Camp

Hong Changqing gave a political lesson to female soldiers. Qionghua realized her mistakes more deeply after studying.

The villagers picked lychees and made hats to express their condolences to the Red Army. Soldiers dance with civilians. The sentry reported that the Kuomintang army invaded on a large scale, and the Red Army decided to shift its main force, leaving a small team to stop the enemy.

Scene 5: Before dawn

The main force of the red army has been inserted behind enemy lines. Hong Changqing led a team to stop the enemy and hold the mountain pass. After the team's task was completed and the team retreated safely, Hong Changqing and others retreated while fighting. But Hong Changqing was wounded and captured.

Scene 6: Fu Nan Courtyard

The Red Army liberated the coconut grove and the masses celebrated the liberation. Qionghua and Xiao Pang were very sad to learn the news of Hong Changqing's death. The soldiers and civilians mourned the martyrs, and many people asked to join the army. The Red Army has grown stronger.
