Blue and White Porcelain is a Chinese style song, written and sung by Fang Zhouzi and Jay Chou. The melody of the song adopts the main theme of "Gongdiao". In 2008, Jay Chou participated in the CCTV Spring Festival Evening and sang blue and white porcelain.
Originally, vincent fang wanted to name this song "Bronze Ware", but because bronze ware was not romantic enough, it was changed to "Ru Kiln" in the Song Dynasty, but the pronunciation of the word "Ru" would have indecent associations. Because blue and white porcelain is romantic and elegant, vincent fang finally decided to use blue and white porcelain as the song title. Blue-and-white porcelain was mistaken for Frog Pool by Jay Chou at first.
This song won the Golden Melody Award for Best Song of the Year, Best Lyrics of the Year and Best Composer of the Year in 2008. Jay Chou also won the Best Composer and Best Album Producer. Due to Jay Chou's absence, Fang Gang accepted the prize instead of him.
