Guanghe County belongs to Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture in Gansu Province, located in the southwest of central Gansu Province, southeast of Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture, north of Dongxiang Autonomous County, west of Hezheng County, south of Kangle County, east of Lintao County, adjoining Dingxi City, with a total area of 538 square kilometers (2013).
