April 19, 2019, Ruzhou Higher Vocational and Technical College (Preparatory) hanging ceremony was held, approved by the Provincial Institutional Preparation Committee, agreed to form the Ruzhou Higher Vocational and Technical College (Preparatory).
On March 13, 2020, the People's Government of Henan Province issued the Notice on the Establishment of Henan Women's Vocational and Technical College and 10 Other Colleges and Universities (No. 21 of Yu Zheng [2020]), and agreed to set up the Ruzhou Institute of Higher Vocational and Technical College upon the study of the 68th executive meeting of the provincial government.
On May 11, 2020, the General Office of the Ministry of Education announced the "letter on the implementation of the list of colleges and universities for the record of specialized education", Ruzhou Vocational and Technical College through the Ministry of Education for the record.
