My favorite place in my hometown is the pavilion by the river
It is located next to the beautiful Xiangjiang River, like a loyal riverkeeper, day after day, year after year, located next to the river.
The pavilion has steps at the bottom, all of which are paved with seventy-centimeter-long stones. In order to prevent slipping, the stones are evenly carved with slanted lines. In summer, people sit on the steps, some listening to the radio, some playing poker, and others chatting.
There was a column at the very top of the kiosk, and it was brown, like a squat Buddha sitting on top of the kiosk reciting the Book of Psalms. And the roof? There were many neat and beautiful brown glazed tiles that made up the roof.
The corners of the roof had four long wave-like strips with all kinds of small animals on them. They are very vivid, some are like small butterflies fluttering, some are like a lion roaring, and some are like sleeping puppies and bouncing bunnies? They all have a thousand forms, strange shapes, sunlight, as if the brown stones, glittering, dazzling.
