Li Yugang Biography

Early Experience:

Li Yugang was born in Gongzhuling, Jilin Province.

After graduating from high school in 1996, he was admitted to the Jilin Art College with excellent grades, majoring in literary and artistic choreography and direction. Due to the poverty of his family, he had to give up his studies and went out to make a name for himself at the age of 19. Li Yugang left a note to his parents, with 200 yuan, and embarked on the road to work without hesitation. From a small mountain village in Northeast China to Changchun to make a living, have done restaurant waiters, in the dance halls have played the miscellaneous, but also in Yingkou, Tieling, small concert halls sing on stage, in Jilin, ran a clothing store.

In 2000, in Shenzhen, opened a housekeeping company, failed to operate. And then embarked on the road of performance, during this period because there is no money to buy a tape recorder, to the video store to work, the use of work to learn male and female voices, popular and opera singing, and then go to work in the nightclubs at night, to worship the teacher Ma Hongcai as a teacher. During a performance, the organizer arranged for Li Yugang to sing "For Whom" with a female singer, but the performance could not go on because the female singer did not show up; Li Yugang was inspired to use his male and female voice to switch to complete the performance perfectly, and won the applause of the audience. Because of this opportunity, he has realized a unique artistic path from a little singer with no reputation.

In 2006, he participated in CCTV's "Avenue of Stars" during the "Northern drift" period.

Acting experience:

In 2007, she held a concert in Beijing, "Where Flowers Have No Boundaries".

In 2009, she went to the Sydney Opera House to hold a solo concert, and was awarded the "Southern Cross" Cultural Gold Medal by the City of Sydney, and formally joined the China Opera and Dance Theater in the same year.

In 2010, she created the "Mirror Flowers and Water and Moon" concert, and toured the world for more than 30 performances; she also released her first music album "The Drunkenness of the New Concubine" and the soundtrack album of the same name of the stage work "Mirror Flowers and Water and Moon"; she served as an ambassador for the Mother's Cellar in the same year.

In 2011, the original large-scale song-and-dance poetic drama "The Four Beauties" toured the world for more than thirty performances. In 2012, she made her debut on the stage of CCTV Spring Festival Gala, performing "The Drunkenness of New Concubine".

In 2013, she sang the song "Chang'e" at the CCTV Spring Festival Gala.

In December 2014, she released her 3rd album "Lotus".
