The traditional Jiaozhou Yangge has hundreds of tunes and more than 70 repertoires, with a cast of 10 actors, divided into five lines: Drums, Mallets, Cuihua, Fan Women, and Little Man; and the forms of performances include Cross Plum, Big Pendulum, Positive Digging, Anti-Digging, and Two Sectional Doors, etc. The accompaniment is not only shawm, but also the Chinese traditional Chinese opera (Suona). In addition to suona, there are drums, gongs, cymbals, small hairpin, hand gongs and so on.
