Title: "Glory Days (Mandarin)
Sung by: Beyond
Composer : Wong Ka Kui
Lyrics : Ho Kee Hong & Chow Chi-Ping
How far do you have to walk in your life
How many years do you have to take to get to the end of the journey
How long does it take to realize a dream
How many bloodshed and tears does it take to slowly realize it
The sky and the earth are the same, and the earth is the same. p>
How much blood and tears
To slowly realize it
I'll spread my wings and fly in the sky and the earth
Who says it's a na?ve prophecy
Waving my hands wildly in the wind
Writing a splendid poem
No matter how weary I am
The tide comes and goes, the world is a changing place
Welcome the glorious years
Welcoming to it. p>
Dedicate your life to it
How far do you have to go in your life
How many years do you have to go before you reach the end
Lonely in the black world
If you are willing to look forward to it
Hope will not be dashed
Let me spread my wings and fly in the sky and the earth
Who says that it's a na?ve prediction
Who says it's a na?ve prediction
With the wind, the wind is waving wildly.
Waving my hands wildly in the wind
Writing a splendid poem
No matter how tired
The tide comes and goes, the world changes
Welcoming the glorious years
Dedicating my whole life to it
Waving my hands wildly in the wind
Writing a splendid poem
No matter how tired
It's not a matter of tiredness
It's not a matter of tiredness
We are the only people who have ever been in the world, and I'll be there when it comes.
The world changes with the tide
Meet the glory days
Dedicate your life to it
Waving your hands wildly in the wind
Write a splendid poem
No matter how weary
The world changes with the tide
Meet the glory days
Dedicate your life to it
The world changes with the tide
We meet the world
We meet the world
Dedicate our lives to it
Writing a splendid poem
No matter how tired
The tide comes and goes, the world changes
Greeting the glory days
Dedicating a lifetime to it
I. Song Introduction
"Glory Days" is a song performed by the Hong Kong rock band Beyond, composed and contributed to the song by Wong Ka Kui. Huang Ka Kui composed and wrote the lyrics for the Cantonese version of the song, while the Mandarin version was written by He Qi Hong and Zhou Zhi Ping. The Cantonese and Mandarin versions of the song were included in Beyond's September 1990 Cantonese album Destiny Party and the April 1991 Mandarin album Glory Days. The song is a composition by Wong for South African black leader Nelson Mandela.
Beyond, a famous rock band from Hong Kong, China, and one of the hallowed bands of the Chinese region, was founded in 1983, and its name means "beyond" in Chinese. The band's name means "Beyond" in Chinese. The band is original and its works are mainly realistic.
The band has had a number of personnel changes, with the four-piece lineup of Wong Ka Kui, Wong Ka Keung, Wong Kwan Chung and Yip Sai Wing being the most widely known. Since Wong's unexpected death in Tokyo, Japan in 1993, the band has not looked for new members to fill in. As a result, the band lost its main singer-songwriter, but it also drove the post-Beyond era to become not only more rock-oriented, but also diversified, making the band worthy of the word "beyond".
Beyond announced their breakup in 2005 with the "Beyond The Story Live 2005" world tour, and the trio continued to develop their music career as individuals.
The band's works are mainly realistic, reflecting the current problems of society and their feelings, and their works are sometimes widely discussed in society. The band has always insisted that each member is responsible for writing the melody and arrangement of all their works; and in order to express their own opinions or feelings on a certain topic, they try to write the lyrics themselves, but sometimes they also leave it to lyricists such as Lau Cheuk Fai to do the honors.
Representative works include "Sea and Sky", "Glorious Years", "Truly Love You", "Like You", etc.
