The Party is the Sun and I am the Flower
Oh Party, you are the majestic Great Wall of China, and I am one of the bricks and stones on the Great Wall.?
Oh Party, you are the red flag branded with the hammer and sickle, I am a sliver of fiber on the flag.?
Oh Party, you are a lush green mountain, I am like a flower, in the sway of the spring breeze, in the return of the birds singing happily, writing a green chapter.?
In my childhood, I often listened to my father and mother tell me stories of war. At that time the party in my mind, is composed of a string of stories and a hero. Like depicting the period of the Land Revolutionary War "Red Child", "Flying over the Huding Bridge", depicting the period of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression "Little Soldier Zhang Ga", "Hero Wang Er Xiao", depicting the period of the War of Liberation "Southern Campaign", "Reconnaissance on the Crossing of the Yangtze River", as well as later depicting the period of resistance against the U.S. and aid to North Korea "Heroic Sons and Daughters", as well as Mao Zedong, Zhou Enlai, Dong Cunrui, Huang Jiguang, these heart-stirring, thrilling stories and these shining names, y rooted in my young mind.
At that time, I always asked my mom and dad, "Who are the good guys? Who are the bad guys? When I knew who was a member of the ****production party, I could say for sure that he must be a good person. And, whenever I saw a movie where someone shouted "****production members, follow me!" I would get so excited that I would even shout "Charge!" with them. At that time, my ideal was to grow up to be a brave soldier of the PLA, and more importantly, to be an honorable member of the ****production party. Because of their tenacity, not afraid to sacrifice the heroic image engraved in my heart.
Gradually I grew up and understood. The Party in my heart, is not just a hero and a string of stories, but by these heroes and stories through which a Chinese people for independence, freedom and liberation of the history of resistance, struggle, revolutionary history.
If the Party is a light in the darkness, we are the passers-by in the night; if the Party is a clear spring in the desert, we are the thirsty travelers; if the Party is the lingering spring rain, we are the seedlings to be fed. If the party is a warm sunshine, we are the flowers bathed in sunshine.
It is the Party that leads a generation from darkness to light; it is the Party that lets us shed the ugly manners and customs and the serious system; or it is the Party that gives care to our new generation and lets us live happily and learn happily.
We all know that everything grows without sunshine, and the Party is sunshine. If there is no party, there is no happy life for us today; if there is no party, there is no comfortable and safe learning environment for us. We are the master of the new century, but also the successor of the party's cause, we study well today, in order to build the motherland tomorrow, we can not live up to the expectations of the party, we must return the party's nurturing to us with excellent results.
