Twenty years ago, at the age of 27, Admiral Kuzan participated in the "Demon Slaughter Order" to destroy O'Hara. He believed that since the scholars of O'Hara had violated the law first, he had to participate in the attack for the sake of the future "world" even though there was nothing he could do about it.
He uses the "Frozen Moment" to catch his friend and Navy Headquarters Vice Admiral Haguwat D. Sauro, who was obstructing the mission, but lets Nicole Robin, the only survivor of O'Hara, go free. Before leaving, he warned Robin to be happy to be alive and to keep a low profile; he emphasized that he was not her "companion" but her "enemy", and that he would be the first to arrest her if anything went wrong. At the age of 47, Green Pheasant first encountered the Straw Hat gang on an uninhabited island behind the Long Chain of Islands, where he was wearing an eye patch and sleeping behind a rock.
At first, he said he was just strolling by to check on Nicole Robin, who had disappeared after the Alabaster Kingdom incident, and had no intention of arresting them, and besides accosting Nami, whom he had met for the first time, he casually let Usopp and the others comment on his behavior; he then went on to use the Ice Age to freeze the entire surface of the sea and its beasts so that shipwrecked people could get to them. The Ice Age" was used to freeze the entire sea and sea animals so that the shipwrecked people could go to the island where the village was located.
Then he suddenly changed his mind and said he wanted to destroy the Straw Hats to solve the problem.
He easily caught the attacks of the three main forces of the Straw Hat gang with absolute superiority and condensed Robin's entire body. Afterwards, he intended to smash Robin's body in front of the gang, but Luffy stopped him in time. Luffy, in order to protect his crew, offered to fight with Green Pheasant one-on-one, which he gladly accepted, and then swiftly condensed Luffy's entire body with the "Frozen Moment" by overwhelming superiority; but in the end he spared the Straw Hat gang in order to compensate for their victory in the incident of the Kingdom of Alabaster when they crushed the Sandman's army. But in the end, he spared the Straw Hat gang as a favor for their crusade against Sha Krokodar in the Alabaster Kingdom incident.
But before he left, he reminded Luffy that Nicole Robin was a vicious, violent beast that no one could handle, and that allowing her to follow the Straw Hats would only result in her "destruction" (though Luffy was frozen and didn't hear this), and then left the island on his bicycle, heading for Suikoden; he contacted CP9's Spandum, telling him that Nicole was the only person who could be killed by him. He contacted CP9's Spandum and told him that Nicole Robin would be traveling to Suinoto, and gave him the golden telephone bug that activated the "Demon Slaying Order", which triggered the "Judicial Island Incident". In the same year, after the "Justice Island Incident", Green Pheasant secretly appeared at the Straw Hat gang's celebration party and talked to Nicole Robin. He said that he followed Sauro's will and let her go because he wanted to witness her future life; however, since Robin had been unable to find a place to stay and was wandering around like a walking time bomb, and had found out that she wanted to die, he decided to utilize this incident to settle the grudge from 20 years ago. He is happy that Robin has finally found a real place to live and wishes her well.
After leaving Suikoden with Munchkin D. Karp's ship, he witnessed the Straw Hat gang's escape. At the scene of the execution of "Fire Fist" Ace at the Naval Headquarters in Marin Vento, he fought with the New World pirates led by the Whitebeard Pirates; he sat under the execution platform with two other admirals and waited for the battle to begin.
When the battle started, Edward "Whitebeard" Newgate triggered a tsunami with his vibration, and when the waves crashed into Marinvado Square, Green Pheasant used his "Ice Age" to freeze the waves and the entire bay, and then continued with his "Two Thorn Spears", which is an ice cube, and the "Two Thorn Spears". "He also attacked Whitebeard with his "Two Thorn Spears", but it was easily crushed.
Later, after Whitebeard was attacked by Shikuyado, Green Pheasant was ordered by the Marshal of the Warring States to freeze the entire body of Bucky the Clown and his followers in order to interrupt the broadcast of the final execution. "Whitebeard himself attacked the execution platform, and he and the other admirals deflected Whitebeard's "vibration" to protect the Navy's headquarters. Later, when Luffy crosses the wall and approaches the execution platform, Green Pheasant describes him as "This stage is too early for you" and easily freezes the large mast that Luffy attacked them with. He then uses his "Ice Knife" to stab Luffy, but is stopped in time by Marco "Immortal", the leader of the Whitebeard Pirates' first team. Afterwards, Green Pheasant is in a direct confrontation with Whitebeard, who attempts to freeze him with his "Ice Ball", but is easily disarmed by his vibrations; he is later stabbed by Whitebeard (disputed here), but is unharmed and attempts to continue his attack. After being stabbed by Whitebeard (which is disputed here), Whitebeard attempts to continue his attack on Whitebeard, but is prevented from doing so by Diamond Choz, the leader of the Whitebeard Pirates' third team, who starts a fierce battle. In the end, Joz was distracted by Whitebeard's attack and Marco's hit, and was frozen over and had one of his arms broken.
After "Fire Fist" Ace was rescued, Green Pheasant appeared in front of Luffy and Ace and attacked him with the ice "Storm Pheasant Mouth", which was blocked by Ace with "Mirror Fire Flame". Ace blocks it with "Mirror Fire Flame". When the pirates were about to escape from the Navy Headquarters, they froze the sea again, indirectly preventing Jieping from escaping back into the sea. Afterwards, he chased after "Death Surgeon" Law's submarine together with Yellow Monkey (Aoji froze the sea, and Yellow Monkey chased after him with his 8-foot Jyutsu Jade, but Law escaped). Two weeks after the "Big Event", Aoji is recommended by Sengoku to be the next Marshal of the Navy; meanwhile, he talks to Smug about Luffy ringing the 16th bell and his request for a transfer to the G5 to capture the Straw Hat gang in the New World. At the age of 48, two years after the end of the Great Event, the upper echelons of the World Government are mostly in favor of Akane becoming Marshal, although the popular Green Pheasant is recommended by Sengoku to succeed him before his departure. Pheasant refused to be Akane's commander-in-chief and had a dispute with him, and even fought with him in a 10-day duel on Punkhazard Island in the New World; in the end, Pheasant was unable to defeat Akane, but Akane did not kill him. In the end, Pheasant was defeated by Akane, but Akane did not kill him. Pheasant suffered severe burns on the right side of his body and lost his left leg, which was made of ice. The duel also caused the climate of Punkhazard to be extreme, with one half of the land scorching hot and covered in flames, and the other half covered in snow and ice, and cold to the bone.
In the aftermath, the victorious Akane became the new Admiral of the Navy, while Green Pheasant resigned from the Navy, unwilling to be associated with him, and has since gone over to Blackbeard's side. Age 49. Green Pheasant reappears in King of Thieves Theater: Z, meeting Luffy, Sauron, Sanji, and Brooke while taking a bath. His right arm is almost all burned, and even his left leg is broken and his prosthetic limb is made from his own ice, showing that his battle with Akuma was quite grueling. Luffy, Solon and Sanji, who had fought with Pheasant, were nervous when they saw him, and then Pheasant revealed his identity. Luffy asks Green Pheasant about the reason for the intense battle with Akane, which Green Pheasant doesn't tell him.
During this time, he helped Straw Hat several times and guided him to the last Endpoint in order to confirm the outcome of his teacher, Z, and the Straw Hat party.
Pheasant also wanted to stop Zephyr's plan, and met Zephyr once in the theatrical version, but couldn't bear the thought of killing him, and left his hopes in Luffy's hands.
Used his Freeze Fruit powers to protect some civilians from the fallout. Eventually created a wall of ice to help fulfill Z's final wish and the Straw Hat party escape. after Z's death, he consoled his men at his grave and called him a true man for dying in style. Two years later, when Aokiji appeared, it was at a time when one of the members of the Seven Seas, Doflamingo, was about to kill Smug. He briefly fights with Doflamingo, who is stopped but unharmed, and then leaves with his two henchmen, asking Aoji, "What are you now, Kuzan." Green Pheasant did not answer. As Doverango left, he said, "The face of a man who wanders is very different from the face of a man who is determined to do great things."
After talking to Smogg and asking why he came here, he replied that he came to see you, and Smogg and the G5 Navy suspected that Pheasant was involved in gangs, to which Pheasant replied, "I am what I am. "After that, he asked Smug to report what happened on the island to Akane and keep an eye on Doverango, and then said, "I'm afraid that the gears of the times have collapsed one by one, and the new Navy Headquarters led by Sakaski will be approaching its first big hurdle, so the Admirals of the Headquarters can begin to move." (The reason the Navy sent Admiral Fujitaka to Dressrosa), and finally left after telling the G5's Navy to keep the news of his visit a secret.
What the Five Elders have learned is that they are now working with the Blackbeard's Pirates for an unknown purpose. There is no confirmation of joining the Blackbeard's Pirates.
