Tong Linge (1892-1937), also known as Jiesan, was a native of Gaoyang, Hebei. In his early years, he served in the Beiyang Army. In 1922, he was appointed as the head of the Senior Instructional Corps of General Feng Yuxiang's Army Inspection Department and later became the 21st Mixed Unit of the 11th Division.
