Information about Tiangong-1

Tiangong-1, China's first target vehicle, was launched from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center at 21:16:3 on September 29, 2011, with a total length of 10.4 meters, a maximum diameter of 3.35 meters, and consisting of an Experiment Module (EM) and a Resource Module (RM). Its launch marked China's entry into the second phase of the "three-step" strategy of China's space program.
