Legend has it that the ancestors of Naxi people's love death were Meikai and Yule School. Their love life is like a bee flower, but it is torn by the feudal marriage of polygamy. They yearned for a free love life, so they both went to Yunshan Ping to die. So, on the Torch Festival in June, young men and women living in the village near Yulong Mountain, as well as paper men who made the brands of Meikai and Yule School, came to Yunshan Ping to pay homage to the first pair of ancestors who died for love.

Yunshanping, also known as "the third country of double suicide", is an alpine meadow on the steep mountainside of the main peak of Yulong Snow Mountain, with an altitude of about 0.5 square kilometers and 3240 meters. In the local language, it is called "Youwuge", that is, "the place where love died", and also known as Jinxiu Valley. It is located in the ravine at the eastern foot of Yulong Snow Mountain, under the main peak of Yulong Snow Mountain, and is a sacred place in the hearts of Naxi people.
Yunshanping is called "My Lu You Cuige" in Naxi language, which means "Jade Dragon Mountain's double suicide place". There are young people from different ethnic minorities singing folk songs and dancing folk dances, welcoming guests from all directions.
