The following is an introduction to Mr. Zhang Qicheng's insights into the cultivation of the spirit from the Emperor's Classic of Internal Medicine!
Mr. Zhang Qicheng, through his interpretation of the Yellow Emperor's Classic of Internal Medicine, summarized the "Five Minds to Nurture the Spirit". If we can achieve these five "hearts", we will certainly be able to have peace of mind and happiness.
First, peace of mind;
Second, happiness;
Third, kindness;
Fourth, open-mindedness;
Fifth, purity of mind.
Additionally, it is important to practice a combination of dynamic and static gong.
The "five heart method" of dynamic gong is to take the five center points of the human body and massage them.
One is the center of the head, in the middle of the head, that is, the Hundred Meetings Point. It should be massaged frequently with the palm.
The second is the center of the chest, called Tan (shan) in the point, also called the sea of qi. You can cross your hands, make a hollow fist, not too solid, and then pound this point. It can dispel evil qi, dispel the stuffiness in the heart, and also excrete poisonous qi.
Three is the center of the abdomen, which is the location of the lower Dantian (one inch and three inches below the umbilicus, usually three fingers can be). Massage twice a day, morning and evening, clockwise 60 times, counterclockwise 60 times.
Fourth is the heart of the hand, is the location of the Laogong point, is the pericardium meridian on the point. Regular massage has the effect of strengthening the heart. You can use the thumbs of both hands to press each other, you can also massage both hands on top of the corner of the table, the time is free. Long-term persistence can make the heart fire down.
Fifth, the heart of the foot, also known as the Yongquan point, is a kidney meridian point. Yongquan point in the sole of the foot in the middle line of the first 1/3 and the second 2/3 of the junction of the depression. Every night half an hour before going to bed, first rub the palms of both hands hot, and then the right palm massage left Yongquan, the left palm massage right Yongquan, so that the fire of the heart down, the kidney water rise, can promote sleep. When massaging, you must have a quiet mind, and only think of the Laogong point and the location of the Yongquan point being hot, which is the essence of the heart and kidneys meeting and exchanging.
The "five heart method" of Jing Gong refers to the practice of guarding these five points.
Stationing stakes are the mainstay of Jing Gong. When standing, the legs should be naturally separated, shoulder-width apart, with the legs slightly bent; both hands are raised, and the Laogong points are opposite each other. Feel the heat flowing between the two Laogong points. Both hands slightly pulled outward, just like a cowhide tendon, feel a little pulling force, the same inward, feel in the pressure of a balloon; slowly feel between the Laogong points of the gas is getting hotter and hotter. At this point start to focus your intention on the top of your head, and then perform the intention, from top to bottom, up and down.
First the Baihui point, imagining (visualizing a scene) that above the Baihui point there is the sun, the moon, the light of the sun and moon, and the qi of heaven and earth are all gathered here, and feeling that the Baihui point is slightly hot and getting hotter and hotter. Then the light travels downward to the Qihai point in the middle dantian, and you feel that the middle dantian is hot, and is illuminated by the light of the sun and moon, and you continue to absorb the essence of heaven and earth, and the qi of the sun and moon, and the middle dantian is getting hotter and hotter. Then it goes downward, to the Lower Dantian, which also begins to glow, getting hotter and hotter. Then this hot stream continues to travel downward to the Yongquan acupoint in the center of the foot, and through the Yongquan acupoint this stream of qi is sent to the underground, shooting all the way down into the ground, deeper and deeper.
At this time, the whole body is illuminated by the light of the sun and the moon, and the qi of heaven and earth, and the whole body is illuminated, as if it has been cleansed, so-called "cleansing the heart", and the turbid and polluted qi are all cleansed together.
The five spiritual "hearts" are the key, and need to be done everywhere in daily life. Between dynamic and static gong, one should first do the practice of dynamic gong, and then do the practice of static gong.
The above is a summary of Mr. Zhang Qicheng's explanation of how to maintain the "essence" in the "Yellow Emperor's Classic of Internal Medicine", which is the foundation of human beings, and therefore, should be understood and practiced more.
The method introduced later contains some of the means and methods of qigong in China, but also hope to see friends usually nothing to think, our qigong have their own method, luck line, and taboos, etc., do not practice, must be strictly in accordance with the method of practice, it is recommended to find a number of specialists to consult! Usually think nonsense easy to lead to the real gas string, time, a slight point will cause discomfort, serious may have internal injuries! Remember!
