When I arrived in Barcelona, it was raining, not too much, not too little. The first thing I did was to look for a place to get out of the rain when I came out of the subway station. The buildings in the extension area are well organized, and there are many stores on Passeig de Gràcia, so I didn't get too wet. I stopped at an inconspicuous and unobtrusive roof, deduced the general direction of the booked hotel, and saw that the rain was not going to stop, so I had to put on a hat on my clothes and walk in the rain in style.
This initial photo, seems to have set the tone of the trip to Barcelona, would like to see the southern sunshine, but it is always rainy and windy. So, whenever the sky is a little clear, they will rush to see the sea to see the city to see the attractions; happen to be rainy days, they can only be in the diagonal avenue (Avinguda Diagonal) and the intersection of Avenida de Gràcia at the fourth-floor hut, through the window to see the rain in the Barcelona's traffic, or in the vicinity of those four-square building complexes to store and forage for food.
So, looking back over three or four days in Barcelona, a lot of places were abandoned because of the rain, but there wasn't too much of a delay in terms of relaxation, as well as in terms of the food and drink itself.
Two
Before going to Barcelona, the first time I saw the satellite map of the city, especially the extension of the area of those neatly arranged as Lego blocks like a quadrangle, I was surprised for a while, that is really the place where people live? Not long after, in the presence, we also lived in the house, only to find that, in fact, in the residence is not too different, the street house open bright, inward house, not all light.
Walking along the street, you will feel the difference, in each corner of the square cut off, always have to walk up a few more steps, in order to cross the road, to reach the next square of the street, as a pedestrian, this is really a little bit of inconvenience, I do not know if driving a car will be a little bit better, will not be really designed to give the vehicle a bright view, so that the car more relaxed?
But these buildings for pedestrians, not all considerations, crossing the street absolutely do not have to worry about. Most of the streets are one-way, some slightly wider streets can be driven in both directions, to their respective directions, but also a narrow one; and, such streets, the middle of the boulevard, pedestrians can walk, and sometimes there are street gardens, and then sometimes, the restaurant will be arranged tables and chairs in this. On the whole, it is still comfortable.
What I like most about this area is that it is close to the main street, but not in the main street of those special stores, although not as artistic as the Gothic or Raval area, but each is well taken care of, but also have their own styles, with a secular and exquisite thoughtfulness, plus the surrounding kind of city, but not secular and miscellaneous along the streets of the spread of the human flavor, after arriving at the first night of wandering, I thought. After the first night of arrival and wandering around, I thought, "I can come to live in Barcelona in the future, it's the closest thing to the city in my imagination". I'm not sure how much I'm going to be able to get away with this, but I'm sure I'll be able to get away with it in the future.

The creator of such a Barcelona is Zelda, not that shining like a star, a mention of Barcelona will not be able to bypass Gaudi. To be honest, compared to Gaudi's genius like the sky, light and strange, Zelda's this focus on the earth and people's down-to-earth, more let me feel at ease. No wonder the locals say, " Barcelona grew out of Zelda's head."
But Gaudi, however, can't be kept out of the way. If Zelda paved the way for Barcelona, Gaudi elevated its spirituality. Gaudi said that God favors curves. So, his buildings are full of waves or ribbon-like spreads. You can't help but stare at the Sagrada Familia for the first time, as if seeing a miracle; you can't resist the soldiers on the roof of the Casa Mira in the sunshine, which is clearly a guardian from the aliens; there are also the colorful and weird shapes of the Casa Batallo; and the primitive and magical park of Güell Park. ......
Gaudi gave this regular urban area so many surprises and spirituality, every time I think of the earth there are so non-earthly works, I will marvel, thumping heart, as if I have glimpsed the instructions of God.

Barcelona is of course not only the last one or two hundred years to develop the expansion of the district, it also has the more ancient Gothic and Raval districts. These two districts have history at their fingertips, and I love wandering through the narrow, cramped streets and alleys, but would never want to live in them. When I was choosing a place to stay, I took one look at the pictures and dismissed it outright because it looked like it had too many stories, and I definitely didn't want to dream at night with the ghosts of the Middle Ages walking through it.
But it was fun to wander through the labyrinth of alleyways, stumbling across interesting stores, museums, churches, squares and markets. We walked through the Christmas market in front of the main church of Barcelona, in front of the church square, chasing the colorful soap bubbles in the sun; we walked through a variety of unknown seafood and fruit market, a mouthful of also have a feast for the eyes; we are in the old city a little busy streets, to see marching band, drums and gongs vibration in the Barcelona style feel the enthusiasm ......
Such an old city, it is not about rain or shine, sunny days are naturally good, but the rain is probably more in line with its temperament, the kind of wet, eerie atmosphere, will certainly allow people to more y appreciate the narrow and bizarre old city by the sea. It's a rich and colorful experience that only Barcelona has.

Not to be missed, there is the sea of Barcelona. Luckily catch a sunny day to meet with it, but the winter beach, the wind can be really big, not yet seen the beach, has been the first to feel the mist flying; to be close to the beach, the wind is blowing the eyes to be unable to open, the glasses will be fast to knot a layer of dense small salt particles, and to turn back to look at the plaza over the seabirds are still flying, and there is a kind of they will be blown away by the wind with the crown of the palm tree illusion. The feeling of the wind is so big, but the waves, but not imagined surging roar, they are still surging smooth and atmospheric, perhaps, this is the Barcelona sea in the winter of the norm, can be seen from afar, but can not get close.
We also went to see the magic fountain near the Plaza de Espa?a at night, like a Chinese square dance or fireworks show, but the music and the fountain water flow are soft, light and can not fall on the ground. But the view of the distant mountains and the city in the evening, and the lighted Catalan Museum of Art after the fountain is over, is still very beautiful. Most angles of Barcelona should stand up to scrutiny, and it's a beautiful, generous and vibrant city in its own right.
That's all I have to say about the city. I'm going to say this much about the city. It's delusional to try to say it all in one article; I don't want to say too much, and I don't want to let it fall into place in the form of a pure travelogue or pure information, so I can only write a few notes in this way, trying to say what I feel, and then it's just that. I think, you meet Barcelona, Barcelona in your eyes, it will be another flavor.
