A slightly swollen flower
During Hongxi period, 14 Sun Kuimeng Tashala, the second brother of Genghis Khan, led his men to Horqin and divided the grassland into ten flags, namely Nenjiang Ten Flags. Since then, in the homeland where Mongolian people have been engaged in nomadic life for generations, agricultural production in the mainland has gradually penetrated, showing signs of transformation.
Under the influence of reclamation, Horqin grassland eventually became a semi-agricultural and semi-pastoral area, so folk songs have a strong element of life in semi-agricultural and semi-pastoral areas. This can be seen not only from the content, language, characterization and image-building of folk songs, but also from the change of tunes, in which the original long tune has become a short tune. This is obviously different from the western and northern parts of our region.
Horqin folk songs also have distinctive features in literature. In addition to the complete story, folk songs also skillfully use the techniques of "comparison, promotion, setting off, repetition, parallelism, exaggeration, contrast, questioning, antithesis and profile description". In particular, the overlapping and overlapping of chapters more vividly express the theme and receive the artistic effect of singing and sighing.
