Baini Township is located on the Chishui River in the south of Gulin County, Sichuan Province. The township covers an area of 63.07 square kilometers and governs four administrative villages, with a total cultivated land area of 16666 mu. Baini Township was built in 1950, 1958 was changed to commune, and 1992 Baini Township merged with Caiban Township.
