As summer enters, sleep becomes less. Even if I went to bed after midnight last night, I woke up around six in the morning. I usually go back to sleep several times, but today I couldn't fall asleep, thinking about the unfinished "Fang Siqi's First Love Paradise".
The content has two lines: 13-year-old Fang Siqi was seduced and later mentally controlled and sexually assaulted for a long time; the young woman Xu Yiwen was domestically abused for several years. Both were reclusive victims who thought they loved their abusers. In the end, Siqi suffered a mental breakdown, and Yi Wen divorced after a miscarriage.
The book is filled with literary references and various "bizarre" descriptions. I say "bizarre" because I can't understand it, just like I can't understand abstract paintings. For example, to describe the embarrassment: "The tablecloth between their seats suddenly wiped out a desert, and a group of unknown dwarfs were singing and dancing silently in a circle."
As the author said, "The pain that people feel towards others is "It's unimaginable." I know the pain of Fang Siqi and Xu Yiwen, but I can't feel the real pain in my mind and body. So my attention turned to another aspect.
First, the difference in narrative methods. I just finished reading The Three Kings of Acheng, and I was deeply impressed by the detailed descriptions, such as "It was almost evening, the sun was hanging between the two mountains, the river surface was rolling like gold, and the stones on the shore were as red as hot iron. . There were birds fluttering on the water, and their cries were heard far away. There was no trace of someone singing a folk song, and everyone just stared at it for a long time. A long sigh, but no words said. "Everything seems to be in front of my eyes, and that long sigh seems to be my own breath." Realistic and concise, it is like the landscape of a famous artist.
The description in "Fang Siqi" seems to be an impressionistic oil painting, with overlapping details and bizarre shapes. According to my simple feeling, it is very similar to Japanese literary narratives, which is beyond my scope of cognition. For example, I can’t read Haruki Murakami’s books.
The second is the protection and education of young people. Li Meijin specifically discusses "Fang Siqi" in the chapter "Many sexual assaults are committed by gentlemen" in "The Subtle Human Nature". The article recommends that sex education should be started before the age of 6, and that sex education should "have a step-by-step process and should be a complete sexual and psychological development process." "Sex education before the age of 6 is to instill in children how to protect their bodies...Sex education in early adolescence (around 12 years old) is to let teenagers understand "what is gender charm and cultivation"...Sex education for children in their 16-year-old blooming season It is human sexual history education, so as to further understand the relationship between "sex and law" and "sex and morality"..."
Sex education "is a necessary lesson for people to move from the natural level to the civilized level." However, Fang Siqi said to her mother: "Our tutors seem to have everything except sex education." Her mother looked at her in surprise and replied: "What sex education? Sex education is for those who need sex. The so-called education Isn't that what it is?" Siqi immediately understood that her parents would be absent forever in this story. They were absent from school, but they thought they hadn't started school yet.
How to grow into an elite without the means to survive? The author, Lin Yihan, was the first student from Tainan Girls' High School in Taiwan to obtain full marks in the college subject aptitude test, and won first place in the Taiwan Science and Technology Exhibition. However, two months after publishing the novel, she committed suicide.
