Century Square is located between Jilin Museum and the south bank of Songhua River. It is more than 900 meters long from north to south and 200 meters long from east to west, covering an area of 22.8 hectares. It consists of museum complex, dry fountain, national flag platform, century ship giant tower, music fountain and Wangjiang platform. It is a landscape garden in Jilin city that embodies the characteristics of the city.
The museum complex is a very ornamental background decoration landscape in the south of the square. Music Fountain Square consists of three large music fountains, each 50 meters long and 18 meters wide. The national flag platform is set off by 12 colored flags arranged in the east and west, forming a venue of more than 7,000 square meters, which is an ideal place for patriotic education and large-scale activities. The giant tower of Century Ship is 50 meters high, with a ceremony platform at the top, which can give a bird's eye view of the beautiful scenery of Jiangcheng. Wangjiangtai, built by the river, is a good place to watch the Songhua River and the scenery on both sides of the strait.
