National Standard Eight Methods and Five Steps

The National Standard Eight Methods and Five Steps is an integral part of the "Thirteen Moments of Taiji", and there are thirteen methods, which we usually talk about: shedding, stroking, squeezing, pressing, picking, elbowing, leaning, advancing, retreating, guiding, hoping, and fixing.

The first eight of these are the eight techniques, and the last five are the five steps, commonly known as the eight gates and five steps, the eight trigrams and five lines, and the thirteen Taiji potentials.

This version is the popularized and standardized version of the Eight Methods and Five Steps created by the State General Administration of Sports.

This is the most standardized version of the Eight Methods and Five Steps based on the softness of the human body and the measurements of the national sports, and this kind of boxing steps is very suitable. Starting Stance
