1, the "priority employment" policy before enlistment
When recruiting soldiers, military service organs at all levels will provide "green channels" for colleges and universities at all levels: giving priority to registration, giving priority to medical examination and political examination, giving priority to approving soldiers and simplifying procedures. Registration shall be handled directly by the military service organs at the county level. Five days before the physical examination of conscription, the military service organs at the county level should inform the pre-requisitioned objects one by one of the time, place and matters needing attention; Give priority to the approval of fresh graduates who have passed physical examination and political examination to join the army.
2. Relevant schooling policies during the working period.
Arrange study reasonably. Before college students join the army, the school should arrange for them to take exams for the courses they have studied, or they can be exempted from exams according to their usual study conditions, directly determine their grades and credits, and keep their school status until one year after retirement. For those who have completed the required courses or completed the required credits and meet the graduation conditions, the school may grant graduation and issue graduation certificates.
After college students join the army, they can participate in correspondence or self-study exams organized by the original school if they have the conditions, and they can participate in the exams organized by the school with the approval of regimental units. After the students enrolled in 2008 joined the army, the original school retained their student status and allowed them to return to school after retirement.
3. Training and use after enlistment.
When determining the direction of college students' enlistment, the military service organs should arrange them to serve in troops with high academic qualifications, complex majors and strong skills as far as possible, and give full play to their advantages and specialties to meet the needs of army building. For outstanding college soldiers, priority is given to learning skills, selecting non-commissioned officers, applying for military schools, and directly promoting officers.
For college students who have been discharged from the army and returned to school, if they voluntarily meet the relevant conditions, they will be given priority to be selected as national defense students during their studies at school or directly receive supplementary military cadres after graduation. College students who have obtained full-time undergraduate education and bachelor's degree can join the army directly to become officers after two years of service.
4. Preferential treatment and resettlement during service and related wage subsidies.
For college students who have been approved to join the army, during the service period, the army will pay a monthly allowance of more than 500 yuan and a meal fee of more than 450 yuan. After two years of service, conscripts can be transferred from conscripts to non-commissioned officers if the troops need to volunteer with them. Non-commissioned officers are paid. First-class noncommissioned officers are above 1800 yuan per month, second-class noncommissioned officers are above 2500 yuan per month, and third-class noncommissioned officers are above 3000 yuan per month.
Their families enjoy the treatment of family members of soldiers, and the people's government at the place where the registered permanent residence is located before enrollment shall give preferential treatment in accordance with the provisions of this province (autonomous region or municipality directly under the Central Government) on preferential treatment for family members of conscripts. After retiring from active service, college students who are unwilling to return to school will be accepted by the veterans resettlement agency where their pre-school accounts are located, and the resettlement work will be done in accordance with the relevant policies and regulations of retired soldiers in cities and towns.
5, rewards and punishments
