After the end of World War II, a large number of nostalgic U.S. soldiers embarked on the port of San Francisco to return to the arms of their loved ones. Paul Sutton, however, could not wait for his wife. It was not until the sun was setting that he made his way home, alone and forlorn, but his home had changed. Wife Betty is bent on getting rich, on the return of the expedition husband indifferent, very cold. There is a rift in the relationship between the couple. In the celebratory atmosphere, Paul picked up Victoria, the two embraced and kissed together. The fire of love burns in their hearts. At the dinner, Victoria's father announced the happy news of Paul and Victoria. However, Paul remembered that he still has a wife, he must return to her side. So he left without saying goodbye and returned to San Francisco. But when he returns home, he realizes that his wife has already had another love.
