A television drama (also known as an episodic drama, a television drama program, or a television series) is a type of theatrical format adapted to the screen and designed to be broadcast on television or online video platforms.
The production of a TV series combines elements of modern art, such as film, opera, literature, animation, music, dance, art, and dubbing; it also incorporates the performance methods and filming characteristics of radio dramas, stage plays, documentaries, and TV programs. Television drama is generally divided into unit drama, single drama, continuous drama, etc.; and in the presentation can be divided into live-action drama, animation drama, puppet show, etc..
