Xiangyang Music Education Association is an academic mass organization composed of Xiangyang music educators under the direct leadership of the Propaganda Department of Xiangyang Municipal Committee and Xiangyang Federation of Literary and Art Circles, approved and registered by Xiangyang Civil Affairs Bureau. The organization of this association consists of three parts: the advisory group, the presidium and eight professional committees under the presidium.
The eight committees under its jurisdiction are: Professional Committee of Piano Education; Professional Committee on Electronic Organ Education; Professional Committee of National Orchestral Education; Professional Committee of Western Orchestral Education; Professional Committee of Vocal Music Education; Professional Committee of Guitar Education; Piano Tuning Professional Committee and Music Theory and Creation Committee.
Mainly devoted to the following aspects:
1. Music education and teaching: including music teaching observation, music teaching reform experiment, music education technology training, etc.
2. Music education and scientific research: including the selection of excellent music education papers, the selection of high-quality class teaching plans, and the compilation of music textbooks for universities, primary and secondary schools.
3. Large-scale music activities: including participation in various music exchanges and music competitions at national, provincial and municipal levels; Organize related music and dance competitions and the music (dance) examination of the Music Examination Committee of Wuhan Conservatory of Music.
