Crayon Shin-chan is an anime that is quite famous and widely circulated. I've been exposed to the anime image of Koshin since I was a toddler. Crayon Shin-chan has brought me a lot of fun, but as I grow older and revisit Crayon Shin-chan, I have a different feeling.
I think Crayon Shin-chan is not only a children's cartoon, but also a social life drama which integrates all kinds of life. Every character in Crayon Shin-chan is vivid and three-dimensional, even if it's just a small one. For example, Kazama's mom and Nini's mom are both portrayed as housewives, but both possess different personality traits, and they raise their children in different ways.
"Crayon Shin-chan" sees the adult world through the eyes of Shin-chan, and sees a colorful and slightly comical world. When you watch "Crayon Shin-chan" when you're ten years old, you feel like you're the mischievous Shin-chan; but when you revisit "Crayon Shin-chan" when you're 30 years old, you become Misae or Hiroshi. Kids have kids' worries, and adults have adults' pressures. What's so great about Crayon Shin-chan is that it uses exaggerated comedy to show the trivialities of life, but it has a deeper meaning, and can make you laugh and experience all kinds of things in life at the same time.
Shinnosuke Nohara will always be a child of five years old, attending a class of sunflowers. But we have to say goodbye to our childhood and move on. Laying on the floor of the house watching Action Man, getting a dog called Kohaku, and going to kindergarten every day to have a house party with his classmates. In the Kasuga sectionbeing a mischievous, but tolerated child, believing in the goodness of the world and always harboring curiosity. Like the five-year-old Xiaoxin, is not exactly nostalgic for the innocent and carefree self in childhood.
